I don't get all the white knighting for Mizzou on this board. You added them for basketball? HA! Hell Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama and LSU have historically better programs than Mizzou in bball. Why exactly again did you guys add Mizzou? For the Kansas City market? Um there are way more Kansas fans in KC.

We added them for cable TV subscribers.
Add one school in a state and get all the cable TV subscribers in said state when the SEC Network launches.
Honestly, the Aggies were the only prize we sought but we needed a 14th school for balance. Mizzou was the best of the worst choices available.
Mizzou is free to leave anytime for the B1G if they'll have them. Would be a better fit. B1G could add Kansas and Mizzou and be done with it. We'll go get the Oklahoma schools I guess or raid Carolina or Virginia.
If I were king, I'd bring in Florida State and Clemson. Move Mizzou to the West.
But I'm not king and economics dictate that cable TV subscribers trump everything.

No no no no frick no. We need to remove the damn Yankees we already have (Missouri, Kentucky) instead of adding anymore bullshite schools. This is the SOUTHeastern conference. Kansas is not southern. It does not belong.

Better yet, why doesn't Kansas and Mizzu break off and form their own league where they are wanted?
