3PieceSpicy
hahaha everyone point and laugh at this guy hahahaha...
Maybe it's a generational thing but, as a 22-year-old, I wouldn't have been caught dead at a party that allowed in high schoolers ...
Early 20s and 16 is definitely weird and creepy and it's a very weird thing to admit to on a message board...
about to start drinking
that was an hour ago tbh...
Alonso is better than Olson
no shite ...
Strider is good but he showed his arse in that interview. I don't know if I've ever heard a pro athlete straight-up call his opponent lucky after a tough loss...
deGrom is great and his peak might be in the same league as Schilling, but Randy and Pedro are levels above him.
As far as pure dominance goes, deGrom is leagues above Schilling and absolutely in the Randy/Pedro tier. That's adjusted for era. He's insane. Regarding durability, yeah....
No one, not even great bat-to-ball hitters, is immune to being made to look silly by deGOAT...
I personally would take our pitchers over your pitchers...
The Mets have a 27-19 record against what I would qualify as "good" teams (ATL, PHI, STL, MIL, LAD, SDP, NYY, HOU) The Braves have a 20-23 against "good" teams (same sample of NL teams but the Braves haven't faced the Yankees or Astros) It's still a bad point...

Then we can be big shots like the Mets.
Considering the Braves have lost series to the Marlins and Nats and spli...
1) losing 2/3 in July to a good Mets team is not the end of the world. And make no mistake, the Mets are a good team and should get better with the guys they have coming back. But some of their hitters are playing a mottle above their heads right now and should even out to their mean.
...
I for one am glad that Robinson Cano has impressed you guys with his ability to hit hard ground balls...
I'll take him over Bassitt
You'd take Charlie Morton over Chris Bassitt? I mean, ok. Morton is always underrated but Bassitt is going to get paid this off-season and Morton will age out eventually (and he's not immortal like Scherzer). ...
I have in fact seen both of those guys pitch outside of this series. Fried is great. Strider has a ton of potential and although I'd like to see him sustain the starting role a bit longer before I crown him, the FB/SL is obviously elite I know the Braves have a ton of young pitching talent so rel...
