I was embarrassed for him with that really bad tattoo he sported.

It is because the criticisms of him are utterly stupid and motivated by jealousy and a sick desire to tear down everything that isn't Alabama or your school or that wears purple and gold or whatever. Fournette was hurt all year and kept coming back and coming back. Everyone could see that except for completely biased people like yourself.

Spot on.

And Alabama sidewalk fans have become so hollow inside that winning is not enough. Now they have to hate anything or anyone who does not scream BAMA. I am sure it embarrasses older fans, but the new gilded fans are so spoiled with winning and so completely tie their self worth into winning, that they only take joy in the failure of others.

They want it all and they want it now... like that kid in the Willy Wonka Movie.

This is true. Buga is a good RB, he is not a "once in a generation RB", he will do well in the NFL.

The way he chose to end his LSU career was not admirable IMHO.

It's not enough that we should succeed, others should fail.

Why do LSU fans defend Fournette with such vigor?OK Mr. Grammar Police. If you look at the post I have made in this thread and consider me trolling you need to take off the Purple and Gold glasses. I complimented LF7 and pretty much just said it was the "once in a generational player" phrase that I believe caused much of problems. The only thing you could consider a troll was responding to someone claiming a QB with 2 national titles and a very good QB rating during his career a laughing stock for being invited to the Heisman when I recall your fan base making more noise about LF7 winning the Heisman and him not even having an SEC title or winning a single big game during his career? Please excuse any potential grammar errors

AJ had all time great college players around him.

LF was in a one dimensional offense and the defense knew he was getting the ball and he still put up solid numbers.

Bama was much more balanced than LSU. That makes a huge difference.

The guy fricking played his heart out most of the year while on a bad ankle and still racked up 850 yds on 6.5 ypc. That's pretty damn admirable IMO. He can only do so much on a bad leg before shutting it down and looking out for himself

A critic might say that LF7 feasted on cupcakes and choked on steak.

Really, 138 yards on 23 carries, averaging 6.0 ypc against the #2 rush defense in the country is choking on steak?

Maybe that's why LSU fans defend him so vigorously, Alabama fans just enjoy making up shite about him to try to minimize his accomplishments.

That is truly the sign of insecurity. Instead of talking up the competition and thus making their victories appear even better, Alabama fans like to pretend that every other team is a cupcake - which actually leads to diminishing their team's accomplishments.

So my question is, why are Alabama fans so stupid and insecure?

Why Bama fans are so obsessed with Fournette even though they constantly try and fail to criticize him I'll never know. Just further proof of the stupidity of the fan base.

Not sure where you got those stats from, but some of them look a bit off. I don't believe he reached 100 yds against Arkansas.

ETA: Your stats are definitely flawed. That's a total of 2200 yds. About 250 too much

My statement had nothing to do with his on-the-field performance during the season while he battled a serious injury. He manned up and played ball, as most true competitors would have done.

If you are fine with the way he handled the final days of his LSU career, then that's your opinion. I just feel like it would've been more admirable if the "look out for himself" could've waited a few weeks until his team finalized their season.

No big deal either way.

It's laughable you call AJ an embarrassment. AJ never embarrassed himself and his school like Manziel. AJ is stil in the league. Where is Manziel?
