So what, he didn't live up to the ridiculous expectations. He was still a dynamic monster for the most part when healthy. The fact that many of you continue to consider him a typical player is laughable.

It is because the criticisms of him are utterly stupid and motivated by jealousy and a sick desire to tear down everything that isn't Alabama or your school or that wears purple and gold or whatever. Fournette was hurt all year and kept coming back and coming back. Everyone could see that except for completely biased people like yourself.
Why would we not defend him? He never gave me a reason not to? And, I BLASTED Ben Simmons for his prima donna attitude as did most LSU fans. The LSU fanbase totally turned on Simmons because he just quit.
Maybe we defend Fournette because of people like you who have no clue as to what you are talking about?

Please don't get a message board confused with regular fans. In regards to LF7 he is a helleva back and has great NFL potential. I wish you LSU fans would stop getting so upset about Buga. For years you guys pushed shoved Buga down this board throats on how great he was. So you expect people not to take shots at him on his way out? From a Bama fan you guys did nothing but shite on DH2 season last year after he won the Heisman SEC NC and led the nation in several rushing categories. You guys have done nothing but make excuses for him when he was healthy
