So size equates to the grade of the facility. Sound logic to me.

To a 17 year old kid, yes, yes it does. They want to play in iconic stadiums like Neyland, Bryant Denny, Jordan Hare, Death Valley, the Swamp, etc not in some 70k stadium that's not even bowled in. You are not trying to impress architecture professors.

I am done with expectations and have us right where we have always been just one notch above Mississippi so thank god for them. Otherwise I enjoy watching Tyson Gay run track, John Daly and Stacy Lewis play golf. It is great for our fans to loyally support a losing Football program but that is what it is. John L Smith is a joke and we will choke this year hard. Oh well.

Bobby Petrino is among the top 5 football coaches to ever have coached at our school. Expectations for football success went off the road into the ditch with our coach.

I am at peace with our current and future position within the league and as long as we continue to dominate the Mississippi, TAMU and Kentucky schools then I am fine with that. LSU and BAMA are so far ahead and powerful that we will not be competitive against them as long as Saban and Miles roam their sidelines.

I am cool with that.....

Dudes been a Bama fan for like 6 months. He even felt the need to announce his "conversion" on here. I wouldn't take his opinion to serious.

in football? They got the whole state to themselves (no in state threat), they have good facilities and are a good brand.

But it seems they get close then just shite all over themselves.

Get over the hump in what aspect?

Top 5 AP and Coaches Poll finish, Check.
BCS Bowl, Check.
3 SEC Championship Game Appearances, Check.

If you are talking about Winning the SEC or National Championship it's because we need stronger Lineman. It's obvious our state produces stud skill players year after year. Our best teams have been loaded with Arkansas talent but lacked recruiting talent.

It's pretty obvious that Petrino didn't recruit any better than Nutt but was a hell of a better coach. If you grab another top 10 coach with better recruiting talent (Tennessee knows this well) we will win a Championship. When Arkansas gets a coach who recruits well out-of-state Arkansas will win another championship just like we have in the past.

*Thank you TAMU for opening back up the Arkansas brand to kids who never know the SWC existed in Texas*

have you looked at their recruiting classes? They think they are a special case where you don't have to stockpile top recruiting classes. I would guess after 20 years they would have that figured out.....but clearly they haven't.

How do you explain Top 30 classes finishing Top 10 two years in a row?
