Well, when you win by three every week, or appear to.... you get looked over...

What can I say?

People have eyeballs and use them to watch games and then vote . Even a dumb-arse that quotes bleacher report (while calling others stupid) could figure out the answer. Holy shite does that guy come off as a whiny jealous bitch.

I actually feel a little sorry for the guy. He keeps trying to explain to everyone how cool and smart he is and how awesome Auburn is. Hes not taking this season and the foreseeable future very well . Hope he doesn't do something stupid (other than keep posting the shite he has lately).

Congrats. You lost your division and will have to wait and see how the rest plays out like Bama had to do last year. If USC beats ND then it's very possible that you'll play the winner of the SECCG for the BCSCG.

I'll also say that if we make it to the BCSCG we will have beaten the team you couldn't, beaten an LSU team at night in Tiger Stadium, lost to Johnny Football (You would too if the game was this week but you'll never admit that), and destroyed everyone else. What say you ForeverGator?

Let's see.... We beat LSU by more than you did and held them to only 6 points. We NEVER lost at home. Beat Johnny Football at THEIR place -- and the time of the season is irrelevant as they were as fired up playing against us at HOME for their first SEC game EVER as they were playing you guys in your supposed holy land Bryant-Denny. Also, you guys have the number 54 SOS and are only what? 1-1 versus the top 12? We are 3-1 and have the number 1 SOS, so almost all of your argument is irrelevant based on those grounds alone. You Bama fans are so short-sighted it is ridiculous, you benefited from the same shite we might benefit from this year. Yes, we lost our division, but we are clearly the better team than Georgia. I am confident if we faced them again, we wouldn't have 6 turnovers and would beat them. We came out flat for one game, just as you did.

I really do hope we back into this national championship just as you did last year and show you who the better team really is.

Meh... you got Johnny Football in his first ever start.... every player on A & M's roster will tell you he's a different player since then.

You got LSU at home... and it ain't like it was a blowout....

Bama would be the most complete team UF has faced all year.... We'd be happy to let you show us who the better team is.....

This aint what you want bruh . Florida is a very good team prob 5-15 somewhere . Go to a good bowl game and beat the shite out of another conference .The championship game is ours and whomever we end up playing is gonna look a lot like Michigan State did in 2010 . Its destiny did you not watching football Saturday night ?

You know it, I know it, Johnny Football knows it: you play them today you lose and you lose BIG. ULL is laughing at you thinking you wouldn't.

Congrats. Fantastic job, really. OBJr makes that catch you lose. But you didn't so again, congrats.

1-1 versus the top 12
Will be 2-1 if we beat UGA. We can't help it that the #8 team at the time went 8-3.

quote:

Yes, we lost our division
Exactly, we didn't. Just like last year, LSU was #1 because they took care of business, we didn't. You couldn't get it done when you needed to, therefore you take a back seat and have to wait and see.

You lost. DWI. You may get another chance.

quote:

I am confident that if we had run 4 straight times in the 4th Qtr Bama is undefeated. We didn't so we lost. Stupid argument on your part.

I'd say you've come out flat for a bunch of games. JaxSt, ULL, Mizzou, and UGA come to mind.

Since we're looking at what ifs, honestly for you I think it would be better if you didn't. Right now you can beat your chest and say I think we're better. However, if it's Bama/UF for the title and Saban game plans for 30 days against you, you might wish you could argue on a message board that you're the best instead of losing it all by a likely score of 37-10.

Yeah, if Saban has 30 days to gameplan against Muschamp....

I'm taking Saban....

After last year's NC, when every sports personality in America gave up being against non-conference champions playing for a national title, why is it not the same story this year for Florida? Now that we've set a precedent for "best two teams" instead of "most deserving teams", shouldn't Florida be up there if they finish 11-1? The winner of the SEC title game will be at best 2-1 against the top 10... Florida will be 4-1.

Because last year the winner of the SEC *also* got in. It's not like 2011 skipped LSU and put Bama in instead. That's why with the same record it will be the winner of the SECCG. And the answer is so obvious that you're being pretty ridiculous even to ask the question.

Sure, we may get another chance. It won't happen though, Saban will out coach Richt and beat them by 2 TD +.

We had numerous chances at the end to still win the game, and I didn't point that out. We lost the game because we had the most turnovers out of any game and haven't no more than what? 1 turnover in a game in any other game this season. Call it a fluke. Saban simply got out game planned versus Texas A&M -- the type of turnovers we had were out of circumstance, not just coaching.

Can't argue that we came out flat for all of these games, but still won all but one? I was only focusing on Georgia? We will step it up versus FSU, I assure you.

Dumb argument. I think Saban is great at game planning, especially with 30 days. But Muschamp has learned quite a bit, and the team has had injuries that may or may not have effected some of our play. We will get those guys back and this would be much closer than you think -- even though I do believe we would lose.

If this happens, your argument that you should get a pass because you have a better loss is stupid.

Yes and doesn't change the fact that if we run 4 times we win. I don't even think the most homer Aggie fan will tell you they felt good about things when it was 1st and goal Bama from the 6 with less than 2 minutes left. Heck, I bet most of them were scared to death when they were punting with 47 seconds left. Oh and talk about flukes, AJ hadn't thrown an Int in over a year but throws 2 against the Aggies. Just sayin.

To answer the op question, look no further than Las Vegas.
Bama didn't get a pass, per se, looking at the odds, Bama was favored in the championship game last year. Bama would have favored by more than two scores against any other team last year. same would have gone for LSU, too, for that matter.

This year, Florida would not be favored over any of the top 5 or so other teams now.

Florida? I would not favor Florida over ND. close, maybe. A lot may change in a month, but I'd make the odds at ND -3 v. Florida.

Georgia has lost one game, Texas A&M lost two. Yes, this is certainly a better loss. Plus, I am talking if Bama does as they should do against Georgia. If Florida did what they should have done, we would have won. I can do that argument too.

You guys fell behind 0-20, I would say he was out coached. Overall, I do agree the game was a fluke for Bama, but Saban still got out coached.

This still doesn't change the fact that last year all of a sudden the rationale changed for voters. Nebraska loses their division in 2001 but plays for the title: uproar. In 2003 the same thing happend for Oklahoma: system tweaked. In 2006 #1 and #2 Ohio State and Michigan play to a 3-point finale (sound familiar?), while Florida pulled out close games all year. The voters, though many still thought OSU and Michigan were the better teams, voted UF to number 2 to avoid the rematch.

Point being is that to think that somehow last year's outcome didn't fly completely in the face of what every year the voters and BCS tried to avoid, is just not admitting that your team got a huge gift. As good as Bama and LSU were, no one would have said it was unfair if the loser didn't get a rematch. I will say however, LSU would have gotten the same break as Bama had they lost the first matchup.

Classic. Is this not the exact same argument that got Bama in the title game last year? We now have the "quality loss" oxymoron added to the lexicon of college football.

That being said, should ND lose to USC, Florida should without a doubt be in the title game if they win this weekend. Anything but that only gives validation to the oft-complained Alabama/Saban bias. Thoughts? *added paragraphs, apologies*
If ucla beats Stanford, and Oregon beats ucla in the PXIICG, then Oregon will go. UF has no CCG to boost them.
