quote: Seems like Bama has a hard on for us Ummm....just no. Don't flatter yourself. Actually most Bama fans have always liked A & M and if we had to have a loss, I can think of several other teams that would piss me off much more.
Here's the thing with Bama and A&M. We t...
I can't find the article on AL.com. Interesting.
It's no conspiracy. Cecil Hurt just tweeted it. It's just too early for the articles to come out. This sucks for the program but it's a lesson for the team. Distractions come in many ways, many temptations. If you don't b...
Not about his physical prowess it's about his mental toughness
Suddenly he doesn't have mental toughness because Trooper recruited him to Auburn- then he switched back when Trooper left? We don't know Rueben Foster. You and I have no way to know what kind of mental toughness ...

Make no mistake, I want Kamara. But in the end, both UGA and Bama have running backs. Kamara would be a big plus but is he really a team-changer either way? Don't let Georgia tell you they need Kamara to make their recruiting class. Georgia always has somebody who can carry a football....
Still, if either Ole Miss or Auburn were in the ACC we might be talking about which BCS bowl they should go to. Their biggest problem is that they can improve a LOT and still not show up a lot in their conference records....

My Dad was a high school coach and decades ago some of my teammates were USA Today Top 25 guys. I knew guys who went on to the NFL. That kind of talent. But sitting here on my laptop in my white-collar job, it's still hard to remember somethings that these kids are just kids. They just turned...

I have been busy at work and just read this letter on ESPN. This is a hoot. ...
Auburn and Ole Miss about the same-- but Auburn has more room to improve (cough. cough.) so probably Auburn even though Ole Miss got the better class. It's all about starting point....
or maybe I'd pick an offensive lineman. They often don't pan out. The number of 5-star tackles who never saw the field in college is pretty big. Most of the time they need to redshirt, they need to grow, they need to learn a very complex blocking scheme. it's hard to do....
Hard to say because you don't know what these guys are into. Reuben Foster's high school videos are the best I've seen since Tray Blackmon, though, and maybe better. Some of these kids will bust. For all schools. Some won't like the competition, some won't quit the weed or won't make the ...
Freeze and it's not even close. Not because I'm trying to insult Auburn, but the opposite. Malzahn can sit in somebody's living room and say Auburn won a national title when he was there, and he was a big reason. Freeze is selling an idea that hasn't been proven yet at Ole Miss....

Looking at ESPN, Texas A&M

signed 34 guys? How do you rate a class like that? I think you've gotta see which ones are gonna get in first....

re: What's up with Bama's signees?

There are few big names left but the hay is mostly in the barn already. Bama had nine guys start class already in January....
Why the whoa? He has been committed for almost a year.
Damn Internet connection dropped while I was replying. My bad. I was confusing Tenpenny with somebody and I'm not even sure who. When the RB Collins picked Arkansas over Miami that was another guarantee that we had Tenp...

HUGE pickup for the Tigers....
quote: Jeff Rutledge gets no credit for the National Title in '78 and had a decent NFL career. I am gonna have to go with that one.
I can't go with that one. he played in the NFL for 14 years. He played in a Super Bowl. I've gotta say Steadman Shealy. When do you eve...
I'm a huge Bama fan, but the best college football team I've ever seen was the 1995 Cornhuskers. I'm happy Bama is being compared to that team, but I haven't forgotten how great they were. They were brutal....
