If you would have beaten bama, you would have a point. You got raped. Everyone knew who the best team was last year, and we proved it.

Oh come off it. Yes, as much as most LSU fans say it is unfair, Bama still won the title last year fair and square. Had it been a close game, they still are champs and LSU is not, tough draw for us. But the shittiness of that game is an anomaly that Bama fans will get to gloat about for some time. But to think that Bama was clearly the better team is just being a homer. If Bama was honestly 21 points better than LSU, and "everyone knew it", then the first loss was more embarrassing than Oklahoma State's loss to Iowa State. Funny how LSU is the best team in the country when Bama needed to use a LOSS to get into the NC, but once that fluke NC game happens, LSU is dogshit compared to Bama.
Alabama won, period. Thinking that they deserved it, and not just admitting they got a nice pass from sports writer's for a rematch is where the arrogance becomes a little too frustrating.

Pretty compelling argument. That post asked some fair questions. Florida does have a better record versus the top 10.... 
to the Gators. Y'alls defense is good but i think Georgia matches up better with Bama than Florida does right now. I used to think Florida was better but not now. UF'a offense regressed and UGA's got better.

That being said, I never thought Bama shouldn't have played in it, I was just hoping it wouldn't happen knowing they were the only team LSU could lose to.
They should not have played in it. We had just beat them on their home turf, they didn't win their division and nobody wanted to see them play again, (re:low tv ratings). Saban threw a tantrum, cried on ESPN and once again, got his way!

It won't matter if ND is 3rd (Which they won't be), we'll be 1st in the computers.

but one could honestly argue an 11-1 Florida team is not only "more deserving", but the team that would have accomplished more this season than either team winning the SEC title, thus should get a spot in the NC ahead of them.

An 11-1 Florida 4-1 vs. the top 10? WTF are you talking about? They will only have beaten aTm and LSU. If they beat FSU, the Noles won't be a top ten team. Or are you counting FSU because they were ranked 10th going into the game? Then you have to count MIchigan for Alabama because the Wolverines were ranked 8th. And who's the 4th team for Florida?

Not disputing UF's body of work but they simply aren't as good of team as 2011 Bama. Not by the "eyeball test". Their great defense covers up a very pedestrian offense.
