Even if it weren't for the backlash against our rematch, I think the situations are different. In my mind, and many others, there is a tremendous difference between losing to Iowa State last year and an overtime loss to Stanford this year.

There is an injustice, though, in my opinion. It seems that people want to overlook Notre Dame's shitty play in favor of their record, but overlook Florida's record in favor of their sometimes shitty play.

Again, stop dragging UF into LSU's hourly threads that cry about Bama.

It's because we not only own the SEC offices, we now own ESPN and the NCAA. And the NCAA has secretly agreed to fire any referee who calls us for holding

It's about time you Bama people finally admit to what you have accused LSU people of making up for years!

If ND goes down and Florida does beat FL State then FL will be in Miami. I don't see Oregon jumping Florida especially if Florida puts a major arse whipping on State.

However if Florida goes down then they'd have 2 losses. You'd still have 2 SEC teams ahead of Florida. LSU and SEC champ. Maybe 3 or 4 SEC teams ahead of FL.

I believe last year was the second lowest rated BCSNCG ever. No one wanted it, but it is what we got.

I can certainly see the UF argument. Over either ND or the SECG winner. More so over the SECCG winner though. FL will have the same record and accomplished more than either UGA or bama if UF wins this weekend and it is not even possible to disagree with that. In fact it is not even close when comparing the resumes.

Okie State got screwed about as much as Kansas State will get screwed for not being in Miami this year. This is the gayest shite ever. They pulled their pants down and got arse raped by an unranked team.

You don't play for the national championship when this happens unless you're in the year 2007 and your team is LSU.

ESPN’s telecast of the Allstate Bowl Championship Series (BCS) National Championship – Alabama’s 21-0 shutout of LSU -- posted a 16.2 fast national household coverage rating, according to Nielsen, representing an average of 16,072,000 households, the second highest of any program in the history in cable television (records go back to 1987). The average of 24,214,000 viewers (P2+) was also second best in cable. It also is ESPN’s second-highest rating of all time.

What y'all fail to realize is that we are Alabama and if we win out we go to the ship. The media is praying to God that it ends up Being Notre Dame and Alabama in Miami. Those two teams are as big as it get in college football.

IF we beat Auburn and then Georgia we will probably win number 18.

That is cute gump. However, as I said...

quote:

The game was part of the 2011–2012 Bowl Championship Series and was the concluding game of the season for both teams.[3] Alabama beat LSU 21–0 to win their 14th national championship, marking the first shutout in a national championship game since the 1992 Orange Bowl and the first ever shutout in a BCS bowl game.[4][5][6] The game had the third-lowest TV rating, 14.01, in the 14-year history of the BCS National Championship game.[7][8]

Turns out it was the 3rd worst ever. Try and keep up lil fella. Works better when you refute what I actually say rather than posting irrelevant bullhell.

I said "screwed" in quotes to try and emphasize that I wasn't serious. The only team that would have really gotten screwed would have possibly been Oregon not getting the rematch nod, had they only the one loss and won the PAC.

As far as the 2007 nonsense, I love when people bring this up, especially Alabama fans as justification for them "backing in" to the title last year. LSU was the highest ranked 2-loss team, just as Bama is the highest ranked 1-loss team this year and last. Somehow if everyone would only have had one loss instead of 2, it is different. LSU still had to win SOMETHING, Alabama won nothing, they got in the game on the "quality of a loss".

That being said, I never thought Bama shouldn't have played in it, I was just hoping it wouldn't happen knowing they were the only team LSU could lose to.

You do realize that Birmingham, one of CFBs largest markets, had a low rating. Know why?

How are the trees?

I haven't read the thread so someone might have already said this...but every analyst on TV has said Florida will be in the game if ND loses.
