Correct, and that was with Ellis Johnson. Now we have one of the best defensive coordinators in football.

Time of possession means how long your offense has the ball. It's independent of who your defensive coordinator is.

Inverse correlation, depending on a few factors. More defensive stops = more offensive opportunity.

Muschamp has had a Top 10 total defense

I knew they had a bad season in 2010 after Bama arse raped Texas, but they did finish #6 in Total Defense, still finished 5-7.

Auburn didn't rank 62nd in time of posssssion because of Ellis Johnson. They ranked that low because the offense either scores quickly or punts quickly.

You're telling me that Eliis Johnson had no influence on the sustained drives by the opposing team? I'm unsure how you've come to such a conclusion.

The style of offense had a much bigger impact on your time of possession than Ellis Johnson.

Well that's a neat opinion, for sure.

A high flying quick scoring offense will negatively affect a team's time of possession. That's not exactly a controversial stance, it's just a fact.

To include "supposed" just confirms your low intelligence level.

I bet you say this every year. Congrats on a win in a game that's not happening for another 4 months though.

On the other hand, other teams, such as Georgia, have figured out how to stop their offense.

UGA was literally 1 of 2 games(state) Auburn's offense did not score enough to put the team in a position to win so i dont know what you mean by "other teams" lIke Gus was getting shut down on the regular.

They are missing an integral component needed for a legit Auburn run to a Championship...

a thief at Quarterback.

Nothing to worry about this year unless they find one in the next couple of weeks

Saban didn't seem to care too much about muschamp's defense last year. Muschamp even set a record for a florida defense in that game...

Dumb argument has been discussed, ad nauseam. When your offense can't get a first down, your defense doesn't have a chance.
