Why are so many so-called experts picking Auburn to win the SEC?

I don't get it.
Their defense will still be bad. Muschamp won't be able to fix all that's wrong with it in 1 season, if ever.
They don't have a conventional offense to practice against in scrimmages, so Auburn's defense will likely always be bad until they get a different head coach.
On the other hand, other teams, such as Georgia, have figured out how to stop their offense.
I don't believe Auburn is going to even be 2nd in the overrated SEC west next year.

I think they'll go 6-2 to tie Arkansas for first in the West but lose the hth in Fayetteville.

We have five 5 star recruits in our front 7 on defense. One was injured all last year, one was just a true freshman last year, and one was still in high school last year. We also have a top 100 recruit at safety and a former all big 10 cornerback that weren't on the team last year. Seems like a decent amount of talent on paper to me

Gotta pick someone. I look at it this way:
If Mushchamp can make Auburn's defense a top 30 D, they may win it.
Bama should be much improved defensively. If Bama's offense is top 15, they should win it.
If A&M is a top 40 defense, they could be in it.
LSU and Arky need more from their QB play, if they get it, they will be in the picture.
I just don't see Ole Miss or State competing. Being spoilers maybe, but not winning it.

Lol at the mutts constantly bragging over the supposed recent domination. You will be 3-3 against over the last 6 years after you get your arse kicked this year, and you will go back to your normal place of having a losing record all time.

Auburnphan still upset about those trees, it's alright man. He is unaware that fans of other teams can actually hold a decent conversation without insulting each other.
I agree with you point on LSU, we need a damn QB. Hopefully Harris can do something for us.
