One thing they've been able to depend on is Arkansas helping them to get off to a fast start in conference play.

yes, nice. I still don't see them beating up on secondaries like Bama and LSU. Or even UF if that game were to happen.

Well you could be right about that but I would say that has to do with more than just the receivers. I think they may have the best receivers in the sec though.

I don't think anyone is really sleeping on A&M. Hell, the only team you can really "sleep" on in the West is Moo State. I mean no offense there

There is just a lot of tough teams in the division and they have to play all of them, plus Tenn and UCLA. I can see people picking against them in 4 or so games, but I think most respect the potential the team has.

I think LSU and Bama have comparable WRs. LSU won't showcase them, and Bama has a young QB. But TAMU is starting a transfer too.

^ welcome to the Wild Wild West...
No Kentuckys, South Carolinas, Missouris, Vanderbilts to rule out here.

Could A&M make noise? Yes
But what do you do you expect people to project A&M them to be? Look at that list

Sorry MSU

God what a scary division. I am convinced some SEC West team, and it may very well be us if things don't go our way during the season, will limp into the bowl season at 6-6 only to eviscerate their over matched opponent.

If LSU finds a passing game then we will likely have two national title contenders and a batch of teams good enough to knock them off with the right breaks. This is shaping up to be one of those SEC West years isn't it?

at least 2 of those teams will fall on their face or suffer from injuries. It's how it always goes.

We fell on our face a few years ago and had the injury bug last year. Its time for someone else to have a turn in the barrel.

I just wish Saban would lose a step

the crazy thing about falling on their face is it could be any of the 5 but Bama. What's even more crazy, despite bamas face planting safety, I don't think they take the west this year.

They don't have the depth people think they do at key positions. QB and RB are suspect this year for them, in general, and especially if someone goes down.

They were Big 12 South Co-Champions in 2010 after beating Texas, Nebraska, and OU.

They were tied 2nd in the SEC West in 2012.

So you are just dumb.

2010 Big 12 South

T1. Oklahoma 6-2, 10-2 (Lost to A&M, beat Oklahoma State) - Big 12 Title game by virtue of highest BCS ranking

T1. Texas A&M 6-2, 9-3 (Beat Oklahoma, lost to Oklahoma State, beat Nebraska)

T1. Oklahoma State 6-2, 10-2 (Beat A&M, lost to Oklahoma, lost to Nebraska)

Both Oklahoma and Texas A&M lost to Missouri that season.
