As an LSU fan, I remember that 2010 Aggie team well. PP7 seemed to take the bowl game off to be a high pick in the draft, but the Badger clearly did not.
Still, the Aggies biggest problem was not being physical enough on defense. If they can get there, they will cause problems and excel no matter the HC.
I think Sumlin does enough to keep his job and I see 8 or 9 wins including the bowl game. Reality is who knows: they could tank or win 11 games. The west is brutal,

A&M will be better than most folks are thinking they will be.

I'm more worried about A&M this season than I am florida.

Ok. For you who think A&M has as much talent as any other team they play I say you are nuts.
LSU has more talent at RB, OL, and WR than A&M.
LSU has a better DL, and secondary than A&M.
Overall team depth is far in LSU's favor.
Bama has more talent than A&M and more depth as well at virtually every position.
As far as coaching staffs go Sumlin is 1-7 vs. Saban and Miles.
It is ridiculous to think that A&M is on par with "any school they play". It is simply not true. Far from it.

Trevor Knight is a terrible QB.... Most overrated ever. Did anyone see him last year when he came in relief against TCU?? He is very inconsistent as a passer. Way overhyped

Until A&M proves they can stop the run then they will continue to be overlooked. Chavis will have them improved though

I think they do well this season. I watched last years game and they played well.

QB and RB are suspect this year for them
Lets make a bet that Bo has more rushing yards than Fournette in that matchup (if both are healthy)

limp into the bowl season at 6-6 only to eviscerate their over matched opponent
Happened to us last year. We lost 4 games by 8 points or less. And destroyed a good Memphis team in the bowl game.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but Lance Taylor is a freakin idiot. Don't take anything that douchebag says seriously.

We've done nothing to warrant people being "woke" with regard to us the past couple of years. I think we'll be solid this year, but it's all talk until we see results one way or the other.
Definitely a "show me" year for TAMU. We'll see how it goes.

Was Arkansas a conference opponent in 2010?

That may very well be a true statement. LSU is packed with super talented WRs this season. The question is can they get the ball to them?
An LSU team that passes the ball well would be a nightmare.

If we're going by recruiting rankings A&M has 3 former 247 composite 5 stars in the top 4 of the depth chart, and the fourth guy is Josh Reynolds, who could easily be top 20 all time in the SEC in receiving yards and top 10 all time in receiving TDs when the year is over in just three seasons.
LSU has Dupre, former 5*, then Dural former 3*, Chark former 3*, and Jazz Ferguson former low 4*. This really isn't close even when you compare recruiting rankings. If you do it by production and what's been proven at the collegiate level the gap gets wider

O line is stacked too.
You people just make things up that are unequivocally false to further your own view point. Their offensive line is returning a total of 21 starts between all 5 of them. The o-line is such a mess they have been trying two true freshman at the left guard with the 1's (Prater and McCollum) which would actually make that number even lower.

They have a very experienced and good QB
Trevor Knight was so good at Oklahoma that after a full year of starting for the program going into his junior season he lost his starting position to a former Texas Tech walk on. But he beat Bama that one time in a meaningless bowl game I guess he's amazing

Arguably the best WRs and DL in SEC.
This is probably true. But it's the same d-line and linebackers that finished last season ranked 101st vs the run.

I have no idea how Knight will do but Baker Mayfield would be the best QB in the SEC and was 4th in Heisman voting last year
