Uga fan isn't a complete sentence. Grammar these nuts. You are so confused that you don't know who or what you are. I bet that you have 14 hats on the wall and who wins that is the hat that you are wearing that day

Steele was a HUGE upgrade for Chavis.

Most of the fanbase was pissed when we hired Steele.

This is false.

Why would I have a State hat? I'd never get to wear it since I'd be on the wagon of a team that actually wins.

Go sit in your corner doggie. The big boys are discussing titles in here.

1. All the experts agree we have a top team

While I think LSU will be good next year, "experts" predicting it is the last reason I think that. Kirk Herbstreit picked y'all to win the SEC and make the CFP last year...while even more picked Auburn to represent the SEC in the CFP. Many experts also had 3 of these 4 in the 2015 CFP: Ohio State, TCU, USC, and/or Baylor. None of those 6 made the CFP and only one even came close. In most cases, an expert's opinion has as much substance as anyone's here on the Rant...

3. Huge upgrade at DC
4. Offense changing

While I agree that these could play a big role in LSU's improvement, I'll wait and see how it plays out on the field first. Generally, but not always, it takes time when major changes come down the pike, either offensively or defensively. I really like the Aranda hire, but it'll depend upon how quickly everyone adapts to his scheme.

LSU's offensive identity has been more ground and pound in the past (and it's generally been successful) and it's hard to change your identity at the flip of a switch. I think the offense changing is a good thing for LSU but, again, it'll depend on how quickly the personnel adapts.

2. Return 17 starters
5. Only Bama has had better recruiting classes the last 4 years

These are by far the two biggest reasons why I think LSU will be in the hunt next year...along with the coaching staff and players seeming to be more motivated after last season...

Last time LSU had this much talent and experience they went 13-1 and beat 6 top ten teams. Also Alabama isn't as talented as years past. Not saying LSU is going to beat Bama but this is best chance.

They think every year that they are a championship team. 8 weeks later, they are calling for Miles. Same story different year.
Maybe this will happen with me this season. Cannot blame all this calling for his head last season on me, I was in Africa

It's the main reasons why LSU fans are excited. We could've have up to 10 early departures again this year but for the first time in a decade we lost 1 junior. Throw in the fact that we have a DC now that understands there is no reason to put our secondary in zone coverage and it gives us a lot to be excited about.

what a dumb post....if you know anything about LSU football... the fact that LSU has a veteran team now for the first time in four years should tell you something to be concerned about. We also have the best player in the country coming back, more talent than anyone else in the SEC returning and home games with Bama and OM. It took a miracle for you to get out of death valley alive the last two times you played there, a third will not happen fine sir

It doesn't matter how much you try to down the LSU team, they are still the most talented team overall and still projected to win the Sec by many. I guess it's killing you that not as many analyst are sucking Bamas dick this year like usual.

Slow down capt. Bama has piled up #1 classes for something like 4 years in a row now.

Remember the last time LSU beat Alabama by the score of like 12-9 or something close. LSU meet Bama in the National Championship. Alabama skunked LSU 21-0. I think LSU crossed the 50 once and that was late in the contest. Point is that even when you do beat Bama, you are still bama's bitch. I don't see it playing out any different in 2016.

Bama should not have played in the title game IMO. But Saban cried to the media. But that's another topic.

Anyway. We return all our best players. Lost one junior. Return 17 starters. That's huge in itself. Dave Aranda is def a upgrade at DC. Harris's stats last year were equal to Metts stats his first year starting. Mett made a jump his next year. Harris will too. Plus we still have the best player in college football on our team.

Key word is confident... Not cocky like other fan bases.

I agree 100% on alabama shouldn't been there. They had their chance during the regular but blew it but they were still there.
