There is plenty to do, provided that you are in North Alabama or on the coast. Montgomery is pretty shitty, and there is frick-all between it and Mobile, but the upper half of the state isn't a bad place by any means.

In their defense, few of those like this ever took a single class at Bama. That state is full of uneducated yokels who hitch their self worth to Alabama football and have no coping mechanisms for dealing with adversity.
It's not fair to label the school itself or it's graduates as such, but the state as a whole is a disgusting blob of ignorance, obesity and unhealthy obsession.

Honestly, Alabama alumni have been some of the best fans I've gotten to tailgate and converse with. Most of them are not arrogant at all and love to have a good time.
their bandwagon base, however, has to be the worst in the country. It comes with the territory of dominating. LSU has had plenty of trash on campus for gamedays, and it's because we've been damn good the last 15 years. The same will happen to Ole Miss, Arkansas, State, and all of the others when they reach that status.
I really just never understand these threads. it should be common knowledge at this point that Bama's alumni base is great, but their bandwagon sucks
