Hardly any of my family is Bama fans, thank God!

There were some who converted to AU fans growing up, when they got tired of Bama getting their annual IB beating.

Don't be mad, brocephus. You are our neighbors, our coworkers, and our employees... in general. Most of you were born out of a rebel spirit. "My family is all Alabama fans, I want to be opposite to show I have a voice." (that would be your subconscious dialog btw)

Nailed it.

Don't forget the kidnapping, truck stealing kid who was probably going to do much worse with the woman he kidnapped.

Oh, and the pathetic thief who stole belongings out of a man's car just last year.

Or those fans who discussed attempting to run former Alabama players off the road.

'Cuz, you know... that fan base is the bastion of sense and decorum.

It's like a microcosm of a soccer crazy country during the world cup.

Only sadder.

It's pretty simple really. There are plenty of people out there that really don't have much in life to hang their hat on. This causes them to latch onto something that they feel they can brag about. Alabama football is the king of the hill when it comes to SEC football and pretty much the entire NCAA therefore these people latch on and try to live vicariously through Bama.

If Ole Miss ever did anything worth a shite, they'd have plenty of these types too. I hope this helps to clarify.

But, but, I thought all Auburn fans were alumni. You must be mistaken. There's nothing but good people over there in the Loveliest Village on the Plains. They're NOTHING like us shitty Bama fans.

I just think it's sustained success, a long -history- of success, all combined with a lack of other things to do in this state fwiw. I doubt it would be news at every school/conference/area of the country if someone hung a flag on another team's stadium... etc.

Now, Updyke and Ballsackguy definitely would have been news everywhere.

Why does an Ole Miss fan worry about what Bama fans are like? Please just worry about your own school, team and fans, and you'll be better off, and have less to worry about.

The joke about running bammer players off the road was made on an internet message board. The joke was in bad taste, but it was still just a joke. It also hardly compares to bammers getting out a knife or gun in real life and actually killing people over football.

I don't think bammers want to talk about kidnapping people either. Remember the actual Alabama basketball player who was involved in kidnapping a baby with his mother just a couple of years ago

He was in no way part of the kidnapping. He wasn't charged. That was all his crazy mother's doing.

Link to him not being involved? I am pretty sure he was arrested for being involved at one point.

I just read the story. The Alabama basketball player absolutely was charged as being part of the kidnapping. He wasn't given any jail time because he cooperated with the police. He just received two years supervised probation

Your fans are the people who brought up the subject of people being kidnapped. Maybe you should talk to them
