Ole Miss is the better program.
State has certainly improved in the past twenty years, but they had a lot of ground to make up for it. Ole Miss' lulls were never as bad as State's.
Both schools would benefit from focusing less on comparing each other and more on trying to compete at a natio...

Billy Brewer was simply a legend. Growing up in the early 90s, he was the first head coach I ever knew. He was a huge Ole Miss Rebel, and I hate that the University did him wrong for so long.
