Weird. The city was buzzing a few months later. I think we won something, can't recall exactly what, but it was pretty big. I think it didn't get as much press because the team we played couldn't do much.

You are spouting absolute BS claiming that the city shut down after the 2011 LSU game. I was there before, during and after the game. All of the bars were open til their normal closing hours and the city lights down town were NOT off. I was out til 3 or 4 am.

This thread is absolute proof that Alabama fans are, apparently, the greatest fanbase there is in collegiate athletics.

Because we don't start hundreds of threads trying to make ourselves feel better about our fanbase by decrying others.
