Yeah, Brandon Harris sucks. No doubt Gus was recruiting him so hard so he could convert him into a safety.

despite no apparent improvement in the offense

This is the most ignorant sentiment I've seen on the rant since I joined.

LSU returns 3 starters on the Oline and 7 of 10, maybe 8 I can't remember, off the 2-deep.

LSU returns every single WR that played a snap last year.

LSU returns the top two TEs and has a former 5* who was redshirted as the 3rd.

LSU returns the starting RB, a backup that saw significant snaps, and brought in 3 highly touted freshman.

LSU returns both QBs that saw snaps last year.

Assuming there will be no improvement is downright stupid.

This is one of those trick question threads. We all know the answer

Our worst record in the last 15 years is 8-5. And even with those less-than-stellar 8-5 teams, we still always hang in for each game, with a chance for a W. We even get those W's we're "not supposed to get" in those down years, too.

What other team deserves to be more confident each season?

But that doesn't include Austin Golson @ C (started at Ole Miss),

Golson played a good bit, at Guard, but never started. Not a big deal, but I've seen several posters go to the length of saying he started at OM, which is incorrect.

Well, we both know that's bullshite.

Oh, so you're returning players on the same team that won 8 games? Not a good start. Let's see if the rest of your posts inspire some optimism that would parallel LSU fans on here drum beating themselves as a preseason monster:

Look, I'm not saying that LSU won't be good by season's end. I'm just saying the optimism seems to be through the roof. Good for you guys, though.

I'm going Aggies or Auburn. Just based on style of play. Bama's Dline can match up vs power teams like LSU and Arky.

All who predicted multiple losses are delusional. Unless a rash of unexpected injuries occur, Bama will go 8-0 or 7-1. Since Saban landed his 1st #1 class Bama has gone
2008-8-0
2009 8-0
2010 5-3
2011 7-1
2012 7-1
2013 7-1
2014 7-1

Only South Carolina was able to comfortably put Bama away in 2010. Every other loss has taken some miracle play or Herculean effort.

6 out 7 seasons have seen Bama finish 7-1 or undefeated. That won't change. This Bama defense is ridiculous. With Tucker taking over the secondary and Bama having 2 former CBs playing safety now coverage on the back end is excellent. There was a lack of athleticism at CB because Eddie Jackson was coming off a torn ACL. He is fully recovered and playing his natural position of Safety now. He is replaced by world class athlete Marlon Humphrey. Geno Smith is the other starting safety and has played in close to 30 games and is also a former CB. Cyrus Jones will be 1st team all SEC. No team in SEC play will score more than 20 on this D including Auburn.

Auburn/UGA

Those are the games that the SO is the most nervous about, and he knows Alabama football.
