Both AU & UGA will most likely beat the Tide. The Bama faithful will wring their handds, gnash teeth and blame Spiffy Kiffy no doubt.

No AU fan should ever say this if they want to be considered an objective thinker.

Well for 1 when he started against arky he played well and look calm and comfident from the first snap. Harris looked scared to death when he took the field.... We had a qb a few years ago that looked really good in the spring and fall practice and when it came time to strap up on gameday he lop layed horrible

If you really knew me you would know that 99% of the time I am kidding around in my posts. I still get amazed at how many haven't picked up on it yet. Especially old timers like you, I have very little malice towards anybody or team.

I like to frick around on here and too many times people take me seriously. Most of the time I laugh when they do and other times I dig in and run with it.

I'm here for info and entertainment.

It means that your outside perception of LSUs individual parts does not affect what the team is as a whole.

But your outside perception of Auburn must be right though?

Gee... well... maybe because we return every skill position player, many of whom were first year starters last year. You see, players often get better between their first and second years. I guess you think there is now way Malachi Dupree, Travin Dural, Trey Quinn, Leonard Fournette and Darrell Williams are better this year than last.

Experience should make them more experienced. They are talented, but coaching puts talent together.

Example 1: Fournette was a completely different animal the second half of the season than he was the first 5 games. You see, he got better with more game experience. He and Chubb will be the best 2 running backs in the league.

Example 2: Chi Dupree is 20 pounds heavier and just as fast. He is stronger than last year, and will get off the line and into his routes better. You see, a year of experience allowed growth.

Example 3: Brandon Harris is also 20 pounds heavier after a year of growth and weight training. It was obvious he was an 18 year old string bean last year. All reports are that he has learned the offense and can make reads much more naturally than last year. You see, having another 12 months of experience, learning the system has improved his play.

Do you really think experience means nothing?

Don't get your feelings so bent out of shape. Take it as you want. Watch for a while you will see I mean it good naturedly. You real uptight posters who take it serious here struggle with it.

Why do Auburn fans think their team will win the SEC?? You guys lost one of your best long threat receiver, have a question mark at defense (No way Muschamp makes a big improvement), and have a QB who couldnt beat out a corner/safety..................

So LSU isnt going to be very good this year, mainly because of one single position that seems to be almost settled with a QB we know has tremendous upside while stacked elsewhere....

Yet, this is a thread about who can beat Alabama with a Fla. St. retread that's been nothing but a backup his entire career that can't distance himself from a RS Fresh or said RS Fresh? Add that to the lack of depth at DB that was 10th put of 14th in the SEC last year in pass defense.

So explain to me how Alabama is supposed to be so much better and why they deserve to be ranked as high as they are in these polls?

I'll hang up and listen
