I only mention this because I would feel much better if our offense could at least break the top 50

If your offense finishes in the top 50 the rest of us will be in for a very tough time in the SEC.

You could be right. You know your team better than I do. Your DLine made me more nervous than any other aspect of your team. Now, it is Davis. He's a beast.

Expectations to compete for the East, which is all I've seen, are NOT sky high.

Some of our fans need to sack up

Nobody wants to acknowledge how thin and young we are on defense. A number of new starters backed up by RSFr. Yes our starting ends are very good, but their backups are young, A couple of key injuries there and it could be a very long season. On the other hand if some things go our way we could win the east, but it will take some breaks. We have a very high upside, and our offense could be outstanding.

We literally could finish anywhere from first to fifth. Or as Scrooster would say - fifth.

If ufs offense ranks in the top 50 they might not lose. Like at all. All season. Cause the defense is going to be really good again.

I've forgotten what having a top 50 offense looks like

Quarles completely benefited from clowney being double and triple teamed. Chaz Sutton was nothing more than a body taking up space opposite clowney. The only one of those guys that will be hard to replace is Clowney PERIOD!!

Again I say that line is not going to be as big of question mark as ppl think it's got no where to go but up after it's production last season

So you're replacing 3 DL starters and 2 CB's. Ya you guys are going to be fine.

I simply don't believe it. If their replacements were BETTER, as you claim, then they would have been starting. You can say "we will get nearly as much production" or "we shouldn't see much dropoff"...but to say they will be BETTER is just asinine.

What a stupid thing to say. So every player that follows the next season in replacing a previous player must be equal to or less then the player they are replacing?

That is fairly asinine in and of itself bub.

Well, I don't think after last season it is totally unrealistic to think you will contend in the coming year. last season you proved that injuries did you in two years ago. We, and Florida were done in by injuries this past season. I think it's high time South Carolina had their share of key injuries. Vote, anyone?

All in favor, raise your right hand! *Raising my hand and waving it around furiously*

Nope. I want them at full strength so there's no excuse making when they shite their leg AGAIN.

Georgia, Florida and Missouri have first hand knowledge of how injuries can derail a promising season. An excellent year can get very ugly real quick.

Nothing new there. Florida's defense is always near the top. If we could put Georgia's offense with Florida's defense we would really have something. An easy Natty!
