loss in the history of their program. In the same year to. And that's saying something.

But Auburns loss is worse in my eyes. And that to, is saying something.

What are some other tough losses by your favorite team?

I still believe LSU holds this title though.

this might be the dumbest statement that anyone has made ever. Losing a tough game in the championship to a very good team isn't a bad loss. Getting beat down by 41 at home by A&M, 38 at home and 49 on the road to your rival are all far worse.

The melt after the IB was far worse than a couple days ago. Monday nights loss sucked for sure, but we got an SECC as a consolation prize. You got a lifetime of replays of a 109 yard return.

Sorry, it doesn't beat, "I demand you give me one more second!", "Okay..."

Not that I have any experience of this as a fan but I wouldn't consider losing in a NC game the worse loss ever. It definitely would sting, but not the worse. It's better to of been there and tried, than not have been there at all.

All that and you still managed to squeeze LSU in there

Louisiana on the brain. Please make it stop. Just looks bad

There is no bigger loss than losing a NC game. Especially If your team has only played in 2 of them in its history. So let's stop pretending here.

Wow. Are you dumb or just trying to rustle jimmies? First, of course Auburn has played in two national championship games. Alabama'a played in three "national championship" games". There have only been 15 played. Auburn has won 7 national championships overall, with and without the BCS era.

Bigger and worse loss isn't necessarily the same. I see no pretending here.

As i left the Rose bowl, i cannot stress enough how cool our fan base was with the loss, sure it stung, but everyone i saw or talked still had a hint of a smile on their face for such a great season. This was a team with division 2 linebackers, a more than porous secondary and average receivers. Upgrades are on the way and AU returns the majority of it`s team, and we have Malzahn..this isn`t gonna be the last visit to the championship game.

The stage matters, but the worst loss is losing a game you should've won. That's the toughest loss to except and only escalates the bigger the stage gets. I'll agree both Bama and Auburn experienced losing a game they should've won this past season.

People will be talking about how and what bama lost in the IB loss fifty years from now. Can you remember who lost the BCSNC in 1999 ? End of conversation.

You're half right. Hmmm, let's take a second and think this through.

How is it that a turd dictates what our worst loss is? I'll take losing in the last 12 second in the national championship to a 10 1/2 pt favorite #1 team in the country to a 63-21 blowout where the team quits any day. It's a new day and we are here to stay.

Auburn fans werent even that upset after the game. I think most if not all realize what kind of coach we have on our hands & know this only the beginning of what is probably going to be the greatest run in AU history. But thank you for playing.
