tre mason = terrance magee
Dyer isnt there.
Mcaleb almost broke a tackle once

I would put AUs rbs behind bama, LSU, usce, arky, and a&m.

Tre Mason, Onteio McCalleb, Mike Blakely, Corey Grant, and Jovon Robinson. I don't want to hear "they haven't done anything", because LSU fans are the masters of claiming a player is great after doing nothing.

Mike Blakely is about to burst onto the scene. AU's RBs will be Top 3 or 4 by season's end

Not to burst Auburn's bubble, but unless they make substantial improvements to their offensive line, that stable of backs is going to be in the bottom 3rd of the SEC in production against other SEC Schools.

Greg Robinson, Christian Westerman, Reese Dismukes, Chad Slade, Eric Mack, and John Sullen say don't worry about that.

There will be. We're finally putting the talented, younger players in instead of the crappy vets

I'm so glad AJ Greene is gone. Now, I'd say the weakest link is John Sullen.

A line of Greg Robinson, Christian Westerman , Reese Dismukes, Eric Mack, and Chad Slade would make me very happy. All are either readshirt freshmen or sophomores and they'd have such good chemistry in 2 years.

Our punter landed 30 punts inside the 20 yardline, which was tied for 2nd or 3rd in college football. It's listed right above your post with a link.

Do you have any idea how many wing downed inside the ten? I don't, I just know it was a lot.

No idea, but it wasn't as many as Clark. According to WiKi:

quote:

He has landed 20 punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line

10 less than Clark... 10.

We probably punted about 15 times less I think he was suspended for the northwestern state game for the trouble he got into in the summer.

He locked a guy in a room and beat the snot out of him for hitting on his ex. :swag:

QB- Arkansas(Wilson, Allen, Mitchell)
RB- Arkansas(Davis, Johnson, Wingo, Walker)
TE- Arkansas(Gragg)
WR- Arkansas(The 3 H's + Wade)
OL- Ark--- frick thats to homer... Bama.

As an Arkansas poster I take the "wtf is defense" stance.

It's a team sport and Alabama and LSU are the two best teams in the SEC.

LSU returns essentially everything. Auburn loses their best RB. There is no way you can make any sort of reasonable argument that AU will have better RBs.

LSU lead the conference in opponents punt return YPA

Arky lead the conference with 4 punt return TDs. LSU had 2. AU had 0.

AU did lead KO return TDs with 2, but Arky also had 2 and LSU had 1.

LSU is far ahead of AU in opponents Kickoff Returns

LSU lead the conference in FG percentage

Auburn and Arky are both kicking LSUs arse in the Touchback category. The one area LSU special teams comes up short.

LSU ST >> AU ST and the numbers prove it. Arky has some room to make an argument to be in there as well.

Whenever you guys say who has best RB are we talking about strictly talent, or who will actually produce?

I already proved his arse wrong in the Special Teams department on the last page so he stopped talking about it.. I think he realized he was wrong.. now we talking about RBs.. duh!

The proven RBs at LSU are better than the proven RBs at AU.

The unproven backs are unproven and it can be speculated back and forth which team has the better backs.

It is a moot point because a RB is only as good as his line and LSU will have the better line. AU can keep their better RBs. LSU will take the better rushing game.

I stopped talking about it because there's absolutely no reason to sit here and argue with a Rantard, such as yourself. I'll take Auburn over LSU, or anybody else in the SEC, for three reasons:

1) In kick-offs, Cody Parkey kicks a touchback more frequently than almost anybody in the NCAA. Who cares about coverage units (and Auburn has a good one) when the other team can't return the ball.

2) Steven Clark was 2nd or 3rd in the nation in downing the ball inside the 20 with 30. Pinning the ball deep in the opponents territory is the job of the punter. We also only allowed 41 yards on the season in punt returns.

3) I'll put our kick returners up against anybody. Onterio McCallen, Quan Bray, and Tre Mason are some of the best.
