ncorrect. Luck was drafted 1st overall, Griffin second.

True, but Doesnt get any closer than that. Thats what we call an insignificant difference in NFL scouting opinion.

Did you not see the first post I made, where I admitted that Chubb had the better year last year? My point was that doesnt automatically make him the better RB

Exactly why I started posting facts about their physical attributes.

You claimed LF to be superior in nearly all of them, but the numbers showing their physical attributes do NOT support your claim.

huh? wouldn't that make him standout more? not discrediting him or anything just wondering. I just think it means a lot more that LF stood out amongst quality competition in HS like this one: LINK

Ummmm no.

You stand out when your school is a powerhouse and you are playing against powerhouses. There are more eyes on you... and thus you stand out more versus the other 250,000 high school football players.

Was Chubb the best player on the field? Absolutely. He dominated. But like a lot of kids coming from smaller schools, no one knows how that translates when you aren't lining up against 220 pound defensive tackles any more.

So because Chubb could squat more in high school, he automatically has more power than Fournette? come on man. And what about LSU's passing game hindering the run? stats arent everything bro

If it did anything, it provided people with reason to doubt Chubb.

There may be more eye's on you because of the magnitude of the matchup, but in all of those big school matchups Fournette still dominated. What im trying to say is, doesnt it mean more to dominate a higher competition, than to flat out destroy low level competition?

Bench, Squat, Power Ball throw, and POWER clean are the only measurement of power we have, right? IF they are so worthless, what do you have in mind?

It means that Fournette was more proven against better competition than Chubb in high school. Chubb was a 5 star stud. But the safer pick was Fournette.

You have Homer glasses. I have Homer glasses.
They both are great backs, and we aren't changing one another's minds.

If you have a season bet or game bet, put your butt on the line and own up to your bragadocious nature. Otherwise, you come off as whiny, annoying, and the type of guy who refutes everything and can only come back with, "because I say so"

Our defense said Fournette was a lot harder to tackle.

Did the debate end when I asked you how to measure power?

I bet you would have listed better ways to compare their physical attributes if such ways existed.

Your point is essentially that 1) stats don't prove who is better and 2) physical scouting tests don't prove who is the better athlete.

Not sure what the leaves us with to discuss.

If Les does not try to get Fournette 25 carries a game ...

1 - Fournette is not as good as good as most think he is or ...

2 - Les is not as smart as most think he is or ...

3 - Your OC needs to be fired.

25 carries is not asking too much of that kind of talent.

a runningback hasnt averaged 20 carries a game under Les during his time at LSU. also todd gurley and nick chubb haven't averaged 25 carries in their time at uga. 25 carries a game is pretty stiff.
