Which teams face both Chubb and Fournette this season?

SCAR
Auburn
Florida
Alabama
Any others?
Are those two seriously good enough to increase the degree of difficulty on a schedule? Makes those four programs schedules that much tougher?
Better put ... are there any two players in the league that will be more spied, more focused upon, than those two offensively? Where defenses will have to scheme especially to stop them?

Both teams' RBs will be focused on until they show they have a competent QB. Should be rough sledding for all involved early on.

When's the last time Auburn has won in Baton Rouge again? I think four nettle will give Muschamp nightmares before and after this game.

Math says it can only be those four, what with two cross-divisional games per program.
Chubb is going to get hammered. I'm not so sure about LF. For all the hype, he's not THE PLAYER for LSU in the same way Chubb is (perceptionally, fair or not).

Not sure I agree with that.
Both programs will build their offenses are each back.
Both programs are going to try to get each back at least 25 carries per game, if not more.
Both backs are big bruisers with really good vision who move well laterally.
Now, I will say that the West has it tougher because not only are Alabama and Auburn going to have to face both Chubb and Fournette, but they've also got to deal with those two studs at Arkansas.
Bama's running game should be incredibly stout as well.
The West is gonna be a bruiser this year, no doubt about it. Some very good defenses and several very good running games.
UGA and SCAR should both mount good running games, Tennessee too, perhaps. Still not sure about them. They've recruited some good looking backs but their OLine is still going to be very young.

Yes. and I think its obvious that Chubb had the better season last year. What I dont agree with is that he's the better running back. LSU had virtually no pass offense last year so every team we played stacked the box and knew we'd have to beat them on the ground. It got so bad during the season that I could literally predict the plays in the stands before they happened. All im saying is, if LSU can seriously open up the pass this year with Brandon Harris, then Leonard Fournette will be a very dangerous man.

With Robinson gone and because of the style, Dak is without question the biggest individual focus in gameplanning this season
Fournette just needs a better support cast as far as balance, and I think he's going to get that this season.
-Massive OL
great stable of backs to give fournette a breather
-5 really talented receivers
-2 6'5" tight ends that can catch
-extremely meh qb in Jennings, but he's at least very experienced now. Harris is a great talent that's inexperienced
I'm all for a pro style offense, but I would like LSU to spread the field more this season. Harris and Jennings are both 100x more comfortable out of the shotgun

My biggest knock on LF, would be his vision. He has all the intangibles, size ,speed and strength. I'd just like to see him be more patient and let his blocks get set up more vs running headstrong into a wall of linemen. Dude has skills no doubt.

Chubb trains on spring break rather than drinks heavy.

Are you still serious about this?

Just because a player has better stats doesnt make them better. RGIII had better stats and won the Heisman over Andrew Luck but that doesnt make him the better player. If you just look at last year, yes Chubb performed better but that doesnt automatically make him better than fournette. There's a lot more that goes into it

Did you watch the UGA passing game last year? It was nothing to write home about.

Yes and you're right. But it was still far ahead of anything Anthony Jennings could put on the table.
