LSU Football history says we beat them 27-0 in Tuscaloosa in 1997. I vaguely remember Kevin Faulk running all over them in that game.

Also our biggest blowout of them was a 28-0 win in Baton Rouge in 1957. Jimmy Taylor must have run over them in that game. I saw him, Billy Cannon, Jerry Stovall, and YA Tittle honored at a game a few years ago.

That georgia game in 03 was miserable. We basically had the death penalty that season due to probation. I remember Rocky felker saying there were coaches literally afraid some of our players could die and they had zero business being in the SEC. Another 03 game was ole miss. I believe out of ole miss first 10 plays 3 were tds
That 03 season I frankly didn't watch many games.

The last time we just were dominated every play was probably that 2000 southern miss game. 21-0 doesn't do that game justice. We never even had a good play in that game. It was 21-0 but in actuality it was 49-0.
We knew this wouldn't last forever but God that shite was miserable.

That may be the only Alabama game I've ever quit watching. I wanted to personally go up to Shula and punch him for making the HORRIBLE decision to put Brodie in the game, only to have him basically killed like 2 plays later. Then Pennington went down, although he was no prize... Terrible game.

Can anyone name the QB that finished the game for Alabama without looking it up?

Alabama has had great defenses for 20 years, so even though they may get dominated, they don't get blown out. Probably 2005 Iron Bowl was the last man handling they took (they didn't care when they played Utah). It was 28-18, but Alabama won garbage time 11-0.

Brandon Avalos! Dear Lord, that seems like an eternity ago...

It wasn't a blowout, but I'll always remember the '07 FSU game being the worst game I believe I've ever seen from both teams. It was like neither of them wanted to be there.

OP set the 30 benchmark. I agree that's huge.

The LSU guy upthread had the last 20+ loss right. It was a 27-3 loss to LSU in 2003.

That's pretty damn incredible. I forgot that we still fought hard during the dark ages.

Ole Miss lead by 20+ at two different points in 2015. Coker just wouldn't relax and the Ole Miss defense was worn slap out by end and gave up some scores. I think Bama ran around 100 plays.

Never felt like Ole Miss lost control of that game though.

I vividly remember sitting in the end zone for that one.

If I remember correctly we kept making LSU kick field goals inside the red zone and the score was like 12-0 or something and then the dam broke after halftime.

To add to that embarrassment was the fact that that Alabama team was as talented on both sides of the ball as any team Saban has had. Played like shite against a perennial whipping post. Saban's worst loss at Bama after ULM.

People say that, but that 2010 team was nowhere near as good defensively as other Saban teams. They had a lot of future great players who were starting for the first time. They were particularly vulnerable in the secondary. All that said, I agree that 2010 was probably Saban's worst coaching job. That team didn't get it together mentally until the bowl game.

The injury bug was a huge problem in 2010. Many of our star players were dealing with injuries all-season long. The team wasn't close to 100% until the Capital One Bowl and even Mark Barron had to sit out that game with a pectoral injury he suffered during the Iron Bowl.

I know the Utah game was only 31-17 but Utah completely dominated that game.

They dominated the 1st and 4th quarters badly, but Alabama outplayed them in the 2nd and 3rd (only slightly though).

But their 2 qtrs > our 2 qtrs, thus the final score.

Throughout history, we really don't have many bad beatdowns due to a clock grinding running game and a strong defense.

I am sure it has been covered, but the last time I remember Alabama thoroughly getting beat down was vs Georgia in 2003. Final score was only 37-23, but Georgia was up 37-10 at halftime and the Georgia fans were so bored they were doing the tomahawk chop in the second half while keeping up with the Braves game.

Ole Miss was pretty bad that year too. Lost 43-28, down 31-10 at halftime. Joe Kines was the most hated man.

As far as final score, that Arkansas game in 1998 is the worst beating Alabama has taken in years, before or since. 42-6. Could not stop Madre Hill or Chris Chukwumba. Was embarrassing.

And 1995, the 41-14 beat-down from Tennessee. Peyton Manning threw a touchdown pass to Joey Kent on the first damn play of the game. Ended Alabama's streak and started Tennessee's.
