Yea Utah pushed their shite in, way outgained them and controlled the game all the way too. But still insane that they haven't lost by 3 TD's in over a decade.

Maybe not by score but Utah totally dominated you guys and pretty much ran you off the field. Thats the last time I can remember.

That's probably been the biggest manhandling of the Saban tenure, but even then when Bama came out in the second half and drove right down the field to cut the lead to 4 you still had hope.

In 2003, both UGA and LSU were over when they got off the bus. Georgia put up 30+ in the first half.

They had less than 350 yards of total offense. Our offense, however, could not get it going with the suspension of All-American Andre Smith and the first quarter injury of Mike Johnson. While the defense did everything they could to keep us in the game after that first quarter explosion by Utah, our offense was downright anemic. We had just over 200 yards from scrimmage by the end of the game.

30+ is a huge window. I'm more curious about our last 20+ point loss. I see that as the official arse whipping mark.

Utah felt like a huge arse whipping, but that was still only 14. Funny thing is, we weren't even spoiled because of Saban at that point.

The 2009 Sugar Bowl game against the Utes felt like a GD blowout.

No, but he came early. But that's no surprise with that thing your ole lady does with her tongue.

When was the last time Alabama lost by 30 or more points?

i think lsu has lost by 30 once in 14 years or something.

wouldn't surprise me if it's been like 15+ for alabama having never lost by 30

You were real real close to being A&M in 2013. They went up 3 Td's early, Manziel threw all over us but no one cares because Bama won in the end. It was extremely similar to 2012 except AJ threw a pick at the end, so Manziel wins the Heisman and the world goes crazy.

Bama always claws back and keeps themselves in it. It doesn't matter how much you lead early. If the difference between winning and losing is 1 or 2 plays in the 4th quarter, it's not a blowout

OP set the 30 benchmark. I agree that's huge.

The LSU guy upthread had the last 20+ loss right. It was a 27-3 loss to LSU in 2003.

Not a blow out though, I agree. We just outperformed Bama that day.

Seems like a weird distinction to make, but looking at the stats given above (assuming they're accurate), I'd say y'all outplayed rather than outperformed them. I'd describe the distinction as the latter being stats, the former being coming into the game and hitting them in the mouth hard and often.

I actually didn't watch the game, but I recall being impressed by USC's clips later. The Bama D looked beaten down, a rare thing for a Saban D.

It's a 3 point difference. My bad I forgot y'all impressive field goal. The 3 points really took away my overall point though.

2001 LSU - Bama

Bama is tough to beat, especially convincingly, so this is probably my favorite LSU game aside from the 2 NC's. The camera shots of the Bama fans were a sight to see by game's end.
