The last time Alabama got blown out on the field was probably the '05 Iron Bowl. The final score was 28-18 but Auburn ran over us on both sides of the ball that day. That game was easily the most lopsided of Auburn's six straight wins over us.

They may have beaten us by those scores but our running backs were never suplexed into our home turf

Fanning should have been kept on scholarship for that play alone.

10 points isn't a blowout. fricking idiot

Are you even old enough to remember that game? The 2005 iron bowl was a blowout. Alabama was never in it. Auburn could have named the score.

Then why didn't they? Auburn being Auburn and being envious of all things Bama, they should've scored at every opportunity I guess.
The final score is the final score.
The final score is the final score.

I hate how Tommy Tuberville sat on leads. It ultimately hurt Auburn in 2004 when he could've gotten "style points" to help Auburn's case for a BCSNCG birth.
That being said, he was a damned good coach.

Nor do you do "completely blown out".

So you're re-describing the games outcome now?

@UGA 03 was the exact inverse of @UGA 08.
Both horrible beat downs that the final score doesn't do justice.

Tubs is a charter member of the "sit on the lead" coaching fraternity. Damn sure hard to argue with the results, though.

You are not really smart enough to be on this site. You should probably go do your homework

I sat on the first row behind the Alabama bench. That game was a physical mauling. Auburn manhandled us.
It was as embarrassed as I could remember being during my college years at a football game, and we lost A LOT of football games.
I wouldn't say Auburn could have named the score, because our defense eventually woke up after taking 3-4 haymakers on a reverse and a few other big plays, but we wouldn't have scored the 2nd TD we scored at the end of the game. Would have finished 28-10 or 31-7 or something.

Others have said it, and while the answer doesn't fit the parameters defined by the OP, 2005 Iron Bowl is the last total beatdown, as in total hopelessness, no chance ever to win the game type of loss. I'm sorry OM or USC fans, I know you seek attention and you want so hard to be a part of this discussion, but you just aren't. I'm not saying you didn't win convincingly in your respective years, but not like that 2005 Iron Bowl.
