Les will never ruin a kid's NFL potential by running him into the ground unlike another coach I know. He has always been running back by committee. Nothing will change during LF's career at LSU.
Not sure who you are referring to here.

It's a mystery.
Someone call the gang.

Then why have y'all dropped three straight games to them?

I think we can all agree that he's going to have a better freshman season than Derrick Henry, in any case.

I don't follow recruiting extensively, so someone help me out here.
Was Bama really high on this guy?

Bama was, not the other way around.

They practically sold their soul to get him.

We were, but he wouldn't have played for a couple of years. Smartly, IMO, picked LSU so he can get on the field earlier and maximize his earning potential.

LF will probably not get to 1000 yards with two other good backs on the roster. No idea who said he would be as good as Gurley this year but they are wrong. He had all the potential in the world but to anoint a kid who hasn't even taken a snap is idiotic.

Yes until they realized he was never going there

Gurley also had an experienced, badass QB in Aaron Murray.

I think this is where the divide happens between LSU and Bama fans with this guy. LSU fans think Bama would give their left nut to get him, while Bama fans think we treated him just like any other big time recruit we go after.

Yes
They offered his little brother. They were about as all in as LSU was.

You're so scorned.
Why? I'm not denying we went after him very hard.
