LSU vs Florida means nothing to those fanbases
Nobody wants to play Auburn OOC. We would rather have the chance to end their SEC hopes and I'm sure they feel the same way.

We lost UF and we're not happy about it.
And y'all aren't happy about losing the UT rivalry.
I mean damn, here's what AU's perspective looks like from the outside:
"Au's rivalry with UGA is the most important in the SEC and we don't want to/haz a sad to lose it!"
"Au's rivalry with UF is the most important in the SEC and we don't want to/haz a sad to lose it!"
"Au's rivalry with UA is the most important in the SEC and we don't want to/haz a sad to lose it!"
"Au's rivalry with State is the most important in the SEC and we don't want to/haz a sad to lose it!"
"Au's rivalry with GaTech is the most important in the SEC and we don't want to/haz a sad to lose it!"
"Au's rivalry with UT is the most important in the SEC and we don't want to/haz a sad to lose it!"
I mean, frick, give a break already with this shite.

Maybe because Auburn is in the West and UT is in the East.

Geographical logic went out the window when we brought in Mizzou.
I'd be all for it.
I'd be all for it.

AU should be in the east... mizzou in the west.... AU perm SECW rival should be MSU

well yea if you create an outlandish narrative then surely you're going to upset yourself.
Seriously, way to argue from the extreme.

Well first off, no Auburn fan gives a shite if we play State. They aren't our rivals. We have fun with it on here but it's not real.
UT and Ga Tech we would like to play but it's not that big of a deal.
UF is an old rivalry we would like to have back and I think my solution gets it back and keeps mostly everyone happy.
UGA and Bama are non-negotiable. Both are top 3 rivalries in the conference. We're keeping those if you like it or not. Our administrations aren't going to let the SEC ever get rid of those games.
That was a very nice exaggeration though. Sorry we have rivals and you don't.

What's your point? Mizzou is in the West and is in the Eastern division. You can change the division names if you want.

Sad over losing UF, UGA longest running SEC rivalry, Iron Bowl.
That right there is starting to get outlandish.
I have seen Auburn fans missing their "rivalry" with UT.
Are you going to deny the historical significance of AU's rivalry with Tech - Heisman and all?
State happens to be Auburn's second most played series behind UGA.
Not as extreme as it looks at first glance.

When you start citing MSU as a rival then yes you've left the realm of reasonable.

of course we do. but i fear that one is gone for good. Things happen. Now auburn fans can't miss playing teams? The fans you've seen missing that 'rival' might be using the term liberally, i'll give you that.

THis has to do with conference alignment how.
Sure playing tech would be great, but not that big of a deal, we've grown apart andlike UT it 's just not going to happen with any regularity. Is anyone asking for this game back yearly?

Of the former rivalries, I think AU people miss the UF game the most. I'm all for moving to the East, it's where we should have been to begin with.

I wish UA could move to the East.

I still don't understand , why do the other 10 teams have to have permanent cross div.
It seem like a schedule would not be that hard to keep DSOR & TSIO, and still let the other ten rotate 2 games.

Me too. The schedule threads would really be awesome then.

Move LSU to the Big 12 and everyone is happy.

So you pretty much just have LSU, USCe, and A&M sore

Arkansas doesn't care, we rarely played Mizzou in the past to begin with.
However, if the permanent opponent must remain, Mizzou is more to our liking as its a road trip our fans can reasonably make every other year.

I'd much rather go to Gainesville, Athens, Nashville, and Lexington than Oxford, Starkville, and College Station.

Bama to the east for Georgia. Georgia gets UF. Yay!
