What SEC State is the biggest shithole?

In my mind, with the exception of Florida and Tennessee, it’s all of them. Florida gets exempt for obvious reasons. All the wealthy blue bloods have moved there transforming it into a polished culture. But surprise! Tennessee has left you double-wide dwelling, Walmart shoppers behind. It is home to one of the best academic Universities in the country. Home to 5 metro areas (Chattanooga, Memphis, Knoxville, Nashville and Tri-Cities) providing good jobs, entertainment, financial and medical resources. Federal Express, Auto Zone, HCA, HGTV, several auto manufacturers, and IT firms call Tennessee home. Did I mention our gorgeous mountains, rivers and lakes? Walmart may be expanding in your State, but Nordstroms are coming here! Lol

Tennessee's state legislature is full of morons but it's a beautiful state.

Mississippi lives in the 48-50 ranking slot for every meaningful quality of life metric

Eh we have some pretty good diversity in topography, could be worse.
Outside of OKC/Tulsa areas though...this state can be rough.

ETA: the biggest reason for Louisiana having a petrochem industry is some dirty politician building a bridge too low about 100 years ago.
