Since no one answered. LSU returns 4/5 starting OL, losing RG Trai Turner to NFL. OL should be a strength of the team next season.

Just conjecture. It could also mean he lacks the ability to play QB in the SEC. No one knows either way yet.

1 game and a quarter is significant?

did you watch oth te broncos/steelers game and the lsu/arkansas game?

Thomas had a DB right on his heels. Dural could have stopped for a corndog, there wasn't a defender withing 15 yards. If one was lucky, they were both lucky, but I'd venture to say there are more than 100 rantards that could made the throw jennings made.

All things considered, neither alabama or lsu have a QB that's proven anything so i'd take the group with the most upside. Hard to argue against alabama there

Hate to say it, but as of now I'd pick Bama's.

Dural was wide the frick open. It's not like Jennings hit him in traffic while running for his life. Was it clutch? Sure.
The last throw is not what was clutch about the drive. I was referring to all of the plays before that when he hit receiver for crucial 1st downs after being backed up at his own 1 yard line

ETA: The TD pass was only 49 yds. Believe it or not, there were 50 yds gained before that

I think LSU's situation is a bigger risk. There's a chance that we can have another year of excellent play from the QB position, and there's also a chance we could see a year of Jennings performing like he did in the bowl game. I think Bama will have okay QB play but rely more on the run. Unlikely Bama will have abysmal or stellar QB play

Jesus, neither, but I'd rather have Cam Cameron breaking in a new QB than Lane Kiffin. With that said, I'd guess that Coker is the most talented guy on the list. That doesn't mean he'll be worth a shite under Kiffin, though.

I know it was a pretty mundane outing but if in Cameron's mind he separates himself from Rettig and Harris, plus getting the bulk of practice snaps, I'd expect an improvement for 2014.

In Cam I trust.

Where is this coming from. I'd love for it to be true, but basically all of these are complete unknowns at the college level. Where is this idea that Coke is more talented coming from.

It certainly isn't coming from their recruiting rankings as he would be one of the lowest if not the lowest rated guy of all of them if I recall correctly?

I doubt it's coming from film of his mop up duty at FSU. It was neither significant or particularly dazzling.

Where does the notion of Coker being a good talent coming from? Comments from FSU coaches and players? That fact that Bama recruited him in an unusual way (transfer)?

is this supposed to mean something about talent or potential or is this just a stupid bama flame?

Definitely true. I have yet to figure out what experience he has with QB's.

The question has been asked several times and the best answer seems to be Matt Leinart in 2005. But Leinart already had 2 starting years under Chow so it's really kind of an unknown. With young and/or inexperienced QB's this year he'll have opportunity to prove himself.

Pretty sure Sark was Leinart's QB coach for the majority of his career too.

That's bullshite to me. Kiffin was the WR's coach. He didn't coach Leinart. Sarkisian did.

A combination of things. Your fanbase posting quotes from the FSU coaching staff about his raw ability and fapping relentlessly. The lack of talent (proven) across the two rosters at the QB position. Me not being impressed at all with Jennings. It's a complete shot in the dark, you don't know anymore about it than I do...thus I answered a question that asked for my opinion with my opinion.

Personally, I wouldn't want to be either of these teams at QB. That is at least one area that Richt/Bobo excel at and I don't have to worry about.

It's hard to believe Bama seems to be relying so much on a summer transfer to win the job.
I can't remember the last time Bama was in this situation - I hate it.
