And yes Georgia is the bigger name and all of what texag7 said, but look at the recent success. Georgia hasn't won a title since 1980? Sheeesh

If you're only going by recent success, like the past 20 years, I'd say Auburn.

Does one NC make up for literally everything else?

Historically? Georgia without a doubt. Recently? Auburn without a doubt.

Georgia is the bigger program. Bigger name and maybe a little ahead over all but recently its Auburn easily...

I think this is both accurate and fair

Which is funny given that Auburn is our bitch the way we are Florida's.

Your splitting hairs with that shite

120 games and they have 2 more head-to-head wins
4 more weeks in the AP poll over how many years
Literally 1 more All-American

Auburn has more national championships... you kind of left out that big one

Recently Auburn is better

They haven't won the SEC since 2005. Auburn has won twice since then

Cool. Thread title reads which program is better overall. That would be Georgia

Interesting...

quote:

Georgia vs Auburn
Last 3 years : Georgia 3-0
Last 5 years : Georgia 4-1
Last 7 years : Georgia 5-2
Last 10 years : Georgia 8-2
Last 25 years : Georgia 14-10-1
Overall : Georgia 57-55-8

In the last 15 years, Auburn has only won 4 games against UGA:

- 1 required a generational player to beat a UGA team that would lost to UCF in our bowl game (2010)
- 2 required fluke long pass plays to win (2013, 2005)
- 1 was an actual beatdown of a good UGA team (2004)

Yeah but it was my sig quote for over 2 years, which is way more official than that thread. It counts.

If titles are all that matters then Minnesota is a greatest of all time program and a college football blue blood
