Let's pretend you are 30 years old and your child was born today. You live the next 16 years old watching Georgia play football and they win some games here and there but no national championship.
Your child turns 16 years old and you tell your son how great Georgia football is. Your sun starts to laugh at you and says Georgia football sucks. You then start to lecture your son about the history of Georgia football and how it is good.
I'm starting to think you're 16 with some of your writing skills and dumb arguments.

Poor little Georgia fans. Since they have not won a national title since the 80's we should send them to the FCS since they are nothing program that can't win anything anymore.

seriously...how old are you? I honestly think you'd lose out on a scholastic competition against monteg and I didn't think I'd ever say that about anyone.

Answer this, Georgia fans.
Since your program has failed to win a national title since the 1980's, do you think your program could win another national title in the next 50 years?

man i hate to burst your bubble but nebraska is definitely not elite. And havent been so for a decade.

Hmmm...interesting. If you won a national title in the future, then does that add to the legacy of the program since anything older than 10 years old has already been burned and stripped away from the program's history?
Odd, because that would have been a new national title with a new generation and that would mean two generations alive would have seen Georgia win a national title.
Interesting.

This would make sense, except that one is Georgia and one is Nebraska.

Jesus you're dumb sometimes.

That is interesting then since Nebraska has won three national titles since Georgia last won a national title.
It takes generations to pass before a program is no longer elite.
Minnesota is a great example. ND is a dumb argument and just shows hate of ND.

What are you babbling about? No one has said Georgia is an elite program. You don't have to be an elite program to win a national championship, and winning a national championship does not make a program elite.
It has to be a combination of historical success and prospect for future success. Nebraska has one but not the other. Georgia doesn't have the historical success and could develop the future success.
Neither are elite at the moment.

For some reason you aren't getting it through your neanderthal skull that nobody is claiming UGA is elite. If we were saying UGA was elite and nebraska wasn't, your idiotic posts might have the slightest shred of merit.
But the fact is neither UGA nor nebraska are elite, so you're just posting inane drivel without making any real points in particular.

So you are saying no program can be elite after nothing won with a periods of 13 years and 17 years between a national title. Hhmmmmm, because fans say the only elite SEC program had those stretches.
That would mean Alabama only became an elite program since 2009. Very interesting. We should let the previous two generations know that Alabama was not elite in their lifetime because there were 13 years and 17 year periods where Alabama didn't win national titles.

As much as I'd love to shite on UGA with you, your failure to acknowledge that Nebraska is unlikely to reclaim it's former glory makes it a waste of time.
Nobody considers Nebraska elite at present. Not media, not coaches, not recruits, not television.

If you C&P for me where I said that, I'll quit the board for a month.
