No, much like LSU, Auburn only has a couple of elite defensive players. But our defense is pretty "stacked" with future NFL players, which is basically average for SEC standards.

Auburn has a better DL than LSU. Auburn has better LBs than LSU. LSU has a better secondary, but that's not much of a knock on us yall have a better secondary than most teams. You'll be surprised how good the players in out secondary are though.

Other than the secondary, that's actually true.

RB & WR are no doubt loaded. I could see 11-1 if everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) breaks their way. Just can't get nicked up front on the DL and one of the QB has to be reasonable.

Question for y'all LSU fans: What are your P & PK positions like? I've lost track of what y'all have. It just seems like y'all always are strong there. And with most of the games potentially being close, this could be huge.

PK should be fine with 3 guys competing there. Our starter reinjured his leg last year and psyched him out badly.

P is in good hands with the senior Jamie Kheen and Josh Growden coming in. (Both Aussies)

We have the best LS in the country and his little brother will be redshirted.

We're fine on the DL.

Jamie Kheen is the punter and Colby Delahoussaye is the kicker. Both are have the starters for the last two seasons. Neither are all world but both are very solid. Kheen was 2nd team all SEC last year and Colby has been pretty reliable although did have a few issues at the end of the season.
