If you guys had found a way to lose that game, with that coaching mismatch and our total collapse of a season..................

You guys probably should have fired Saban on the spot

You mentioned you saw the '98 game, right?

But the refs were ready to hand the ball over to Bama after that kick/non-interference/LSU recovery in 2000. It seems outrageous today, but at the time seemed like just another Bama game in Tiger Stadium.

Anything's possible.

Anyone who picks a derogatory slang version of their rival's name to use as part of their screen name is screaming "i'm obsessed with them".

This makes twice you have jumped into a thread to bitch about my screen name, and you say I am the one who's obsessed?

P.S.: Frick Bama.

That 1999 season for y'all is one of the most incredible turnarounds I have ever seen.

We had lots of daddies in the 90's and 2000's from the Mid Major ranks. We were all about helping the little guy.

1997 & 1999 Louisiana Tech

2000 Southern Miss

2000 UCF

2003 Northern Illinois

2007 Louisiana Monroe

Thanks solely to Shaun Alexander and Chris Samuels almost literally coaching the team.

It's amazing that the only two coaches to beat Spurrier twice in one year are Dubose (1999) and Chizik (2010).

Not exactly HoF material.

Talk about what a nice guy Mike Shula was, while watching Kenneth Darby run up the middle play after play. You know what frick you for bringing this up. I thought I killed these memories with whiskey.

When the Corolla put the ad in the CW after Shula was fired to buy the 2007? Corolla, and it showed a picture of Darby/Castille/McClain in the Maryland I and beneath it said "How Else Will you Explain the Jumbo Package to your Children?" that was fantastic.
