You dont actually think LSU would have won in 2009 even with that Patrick Peterson interception... do you?
I love this shite.
Of course we might have not scored. It robbed us of the chance, and it was a relatively short field too.

My favorite is that no call PI call a couple years ago in BR. I think Brodie was the qb. One of the most obvious calls I've ever seen not called. Makes me laugh everytime i see it

you saying that wasn't a great D in 2005 ?
I realize every time we have a good D, we compare it to 92 (happened in 09, happening this year)
but that D deserved all the accolades they got. We won games all year scoring 10 points or less... thats pretty impressive for a defense. No they were not as good as 92... but they were still one of the better SEC defenses of the last decade

Brodie had gone down with an injury for the season. It was his backup Spencer Pennington... '04 I believe

.Followed by the "first college replay" game and breaking the streak. I swear if the refs had fawked that up it I honestly think the crowd would've gone mexico soccer beat down on them.
That was crazy! They were just going to give Bama the ball.

I dont really even remember that game. we were 3-8 in 2000 and i've tried to block that from my memory, and I drank A LOT that year during the games to dull the pain
what happened with the replay?

You guys had a lot of emotion invested in that 2005 game. The fans were absolutely unbearable before the game. And then after the game, I was threatened with death twice and bulldozed from behind by some fat slob walking out the stadium.
My friend and I were standing on the sidewalk trying to contact the people who left us after the game (more upset bama fans) and some frat bro had to be taken away by police because he kept coming up to us saying he was going to "end our lives"

we really did. It had been so long since we were relevant on the national scene we wanted to believe we were better than we really were. We had zero offense, and a really really good D... but we looked the other way and talked shite like we were great, although I think deep down we knew it was an illusion
Fans had been so starved for a dominant team, we took the first opportunity we had to proclaim greatness... even though it was very premature and ended up blowing up in our faces a little against LSU and to ton the next week against Auburn

honestly, I think we really just like to bring up the 92 team and how amazing that defense was. We'll take any good defense and use it as a reason to discuss the 92 defense

how about losing 2 games to unranked teams and still getting into the title game? Can a team that loses to Kentucky really call itself a "national champion" ?
how many more 1 loss teams were left to play tOSU?

Youtube..check it out.
Punt return I think, LSU player gets up from the ground Bama ref. runs in picks up the ball and signals Bama ball. players pointing to the New (1st year) jumbotron to show refs...replay video over and over untill they return the ball to LSU.

92' was a great "D"
I think LSU 2003 and 2011 are in that class.

of course you don't. It doesn't benefit you. LSU fans are here to remind you of the way Birmingham HQ'd refs have been screwing LSU for years. It's more egregious with Auburn but you fricks get a way with a shiteload of OL holding. You can say that is the way ALL OL are taught (which is BS) and also that it's because Bama is disciplined - (yea right!)
Both your team and AU get a shite load of breaks & no calls when it comes to LSU. It's crap!

Everytime you post something about Bama ala Brodie Croyle, its always the Bama player who messed up not LSU making him mess up, but when it comes to LSU Bama did it all and LSU was even lucky to be in the field with the almighty.
You are the definition of a HOMER. Nice, we more like you around these parts. Please tell all your friends to sign up.

Watch that TR touchdown run up the mddle vs Tenn (the one where he stops to wait for his linemen) You can literally see Barret Jones sp? tackle the linemen he is blocking with the referee looking dead at him. It is absolutely hilarious how perfect the form tackle is.

1982, 20-10 at AL was sweet .. Bear's last season, Tigers win!
the game in early 2000's where Rohan Davey and Josh Reed played ridiculous pitch and catch, again, at AL.
the OT win (at AL) TD pass from JaMarcus Russell.
The 1993, "Pigs will fly" LSU win (at AL)

1982- the last time LSU would face the Bear. LSUs defense was unbelievable. Big Tiger win. Fond childhood memory.

Tommy Casanova laying out Johnny Musso in the '69 game. Bama fans claim the hit occurred out of bounds, but no flag was thrown.

It was a 3rd or 4th down play. 23-21 LSU was up. Alabama was driving and on about the 25 or 30 heading in. Bama's rb was hit at the line and fumbled forward. LSU recovered clearly. Players running around celebrating, crowd was wild, clearly LSU's ball...no doubt, not even a tide player around the recovery.
Penalty on Bama. LSU declines. They give the ball back to bama at the spot of the recovery. Seriously, I was going to join 90,000 of my friends in a beat down if they didn't get that right.
They keep replaying it on the jumbotron and the refs sneak a peak and get the call right. LSU's ball. I beliveve they score that drive and go up 30 to 21. Bama scores, tries an onside kick... LSU recovers, ball game.
