Fair point but still an academic issue according to SACS. Auburnfan23 made the point earlier as did you. Congrats, two of you are capable of at least fielding a decent argument about half of what I said. You still have to explain why at least one of your fans came to our campus to hold a klan demonstration.

And please don't say it was just one fan as you have no problem generalizing an entire university (OM) by the actions of a few out of state students.

not a chance. Quality has already dropped off (if you believe the rankings). You can't add 25k more students and not hurt the quality of the teaching.

I agree. Quality has dropped off and will continue to do so. 25x25 is a terrible plan. But enrollment won't go up by 25k. They're basically doubling the engineering school from ~12.5k to 25k.

I'll agree that Dickson (not "Dixon",shame on your obvious non-alumni arse) has grown rather busy compared to ten years ago.

Arkansas has been one of the fastest growing schools in the nation the past decade or so.

Heh I got in the bad habit of spelling it like that years and years ago. Back when Roger's Rec was still a going concern; used to date a girl who bartended there. Back before Condom Sense showed up. Granted I'm about to lose my Dickson (I'll still spell it Dixon every other time because its a bad habit) cred when I admit I've only been to Georges once.

I have spent quite a bit of money in the used bookstore there so they can vouch for me!

The full A&M System is actually up to 131k now. It is accurate that Galveston, Qatar, and the Law and Med schools are considered part of the main campus while the others are not (Prairie View, West Texas A&M, etc.)

The fact that you have a campus in a country that practices slavery in 2014 is pretty shameful.

The 2014 freshman class of 6,856 students represented an increase of 5.8 percent, or 378 students, compared to fall 2013, which had a class of 6,478. The university highlighted the academic profile of the incoming students, who had an average ACT score of 26.1, the highest in UA history, and an average high school GPA of 3.65. The freshman class includes 135 National Merit Scholars and 20 National Achievement Scholars.
