It's wild that a program who constantly brags about muh 12th man and the Junction Boys couldn't field a team with 39 players.

How ironic.

They came up with the slogan when A&M was an all male student body & "12TH Man" doesn't mean what you have been told it does.

That place has never been right.

Having almost none of their own, sips really hate university traditions

Like their mascot which was originally a dog until they stole A&M’s yearbook name the “Longhorn” and adopted it as their mascot a decade later

“The short version of events is that on January 2, 1922, the aggy football team was played a post-season exhibition game in Dallas. During the first half, a couple of the aggy players got hurt. In the stands watching was a player who had been with the team during the season, but didn’t hang around for the exhibition game, but instead joined the basketball team. At halftime, he went behind the bleachers and changed from his street clothes into the uniform of one of the injured players and stood around on the sideline with the other players in case he was needed to play. he wasn’t needed, the team won the game and after the game, everyone went home.”

Read history of the guy walking back and forth… his feet were so big he had to walk keep his balance on the stairs… the milkmen uniforms were actually janitor uniforms they had the freshman steal to put on for their calls…

Fractured history….

In all of sports, there is no greater inverse relationship than the one between the number of traditions involving Aggie football and the actual success of Aggie football.

You have 0 national titles since Hitler invaded France. You have 0 conference titles since the Clinton administration. Maybe it's time for you guys to shake some things up.

And they won that championship because the real army was off fighting in WWII.

Hitler invaded Poland in 1939

America was isolationist at that time

The US was bombed at Pearl Harbor on Decemegbr 7th, 1941

The US military mobilized in 1942

If TAMU won their Natty in 1939, the real army was not off fighting WWII

Do they even teach history in school anymore?

Not at Texas. At Texas they teach dildo insertion points and mask wearing proficiency.
