Not sure what you mean in the rest of your post.
I don't care much about auburn/uga academics but somebody said dumb Georgia kids go to Auburn but aubbie has better nationally respected engineering programs.

He's referring to Georgia Tech. UGA and Tech are part of the same University System, so UGA has tended to avoid Engineering related programs until recently because it would step on the toes of what Tech basically exists for.

Two things:
1) There is an option to build the IPF on South Milledge next to the Softball complex. However, it's a waste of time to load the whole team up and bus them down there every time they want to use the facility AND Richt has expressed a desire to have it near the current football practice fields for recruiting purposes.
2) It has to look nice. Athens is a nice town and UGA is a beautiful campus. Every new building on campus is beautiful and the IPF won't be any different. It has to blend in.

Spec Towns is so fricking expendable it's not even funny. Build a state of the Art track facility next to JTS and bam! Problem solved. Plenty of room for an IPF next door to BMH

If Auburn was known for its engineering school, you'd have a point. But most people in the country, if they've heard of "Auburn", don't even know where it is located.

First, Ole Miss fans shouldn't post. Why? Because they suck! Two years ago, 38-10. Quiet down now Ole Miss.
We went 8-5 last year, and 10-3 this year. Thats not a decline.
Also we gave you a quarterback for two years, the "missing piece" of your puzzle, and you still couldn't win anything. The decline is real Tiger fans!
