I've read tons of post-Manziel Pro-Day write-ups since yesterday, and I'm better than good with what the overwhelming commentary has been.

Yeah because it was a very good pro day. BUT still a pro day so not that important in the scheme of things.

Yeah EKG, you need some perspective...
Most NFL first round hopefuls are expected to have a pro-day. So, if you must - then its better to have a good one instead of looking flustered out there like Teddy B.

still don't think the texans will take him ... not saying they shouldn't, but just don't see o'brien ditching his preferred tall/big drop-back passer style for manziel ...
regardless, he'll for sure be a top 10 pick and get paid a load of cash to sign ...

Colt McCoy was very accurate, but still had questions about his arm strength at his pro day.
I'm sure you knew that, but that's not convenient to your narrative...

Has nothing to do with any sort of narrative. I'm simply bringing up other players who had great pro days. The list is long of QB's with great pro days who failed in the NFL.

But why bring up McCoy and Russell? They are totally irrelevant. And there are plenty of players who have had good pro days and have been successful in the NFL. Also irrelevant.
McCoy Good pro-day, weak arm = not successful
Russell Good pro-day, lazy bum = not successful
Doesn't contribute anything to Manziel's draft stock. Is there some sort of comparison to be drawn between these examples, or are you just thowing things out there and hoping something sticks...?

Yeah, we're TOTALLY all upset b/c our QB crushed his pro-day. So in reality, who seems butthurt about it?
We're mostly just entertained at how the argument keeps shifting from side to side.
What's next? Can you compare the music played at the pro-days in a chart, and correlate that to the success in the NFL?

Because as I said they had great pro days and bad careers. It further proves the point that a good pro day doesn't mean as much as fans think.

The argument hasn't shifted at all. He had a great pro day, like most QB's, the nfl doesn't think it means much. Some don't think he will be successful in the NFL. The Aggies, as usual, are going full homer. It's pretty simple.
