There is no way to accurately measure, but if it is about perception and comparison vs Bridgewater, Bortles, Carr, etc., then yes - I would say he improved the perception of himself.

Conversely, Bridgewater's bad pro day hurt him...

It's not A&M bias speaking if the perception changed positively. Hell, even Jaworski said he would now put Manziel in the top 3 rounds!

Of course you can say it had no impact because there is no way to put a measurement on subjective opinions. But that would be dishonest.

Are you a Texans fan and if so do you hope they draft him #1?

I am a big texans fan.
And I do hope they draft Johnny.
But I'm not as confident of that happening now, as I was a few weeks ago.
That said, the Texans brought their big-time power players to College Station today; so I'm going to choose to look at that as a good sign.

It's a fact that he is more inaccurate on certain throws and certain situations (like VS pressure) than other QB's in the draft.

But you understand this is an entirely different statement than your first sweeping line of shite, right?

This takes credibility from whatever legitimate criticism you might offer. You started with a broad statement and you've retreated to something so distant that it just looks trivial when compared.

No I don't. It isn't. I said he was inaccurate then and I proved how. It's pretty simple.

LSU has a terrific defense, but his sample size is bigger than that.

Wait.

Are you suggesting JFF's games against LSU represent 8% of his entire body of work and therefore fail to tell even a substantial part of the story?

Intradesting.

You can't be serious.

You said he's "inaccurate in games when it counts."]

Citing the results of his throws made 6-10 yards under pressure comes nowhere close to proving that point--which is really just a sweeping line of shite.

And adam, I have a stat that conclusively disproves that JFF "is inaccurate in a game when it counts."

quote:

Manziel was the best of the three QBs with a completion percentage of 70.1% in the 4th quarter.

No all his throws from 6-10 yards and 11-15.

AND

throws while under duress.

AND

He had the highest % of balls off target.

I never said this. You obviously misquoted me. I said he isn't AS accurate in games when it counts. I said nothing about the 4th quarter, where his heroics are well known.
