This thread shows that FSU fans dont know how to win with class. They make up excuses for their short comings and act like they were far superior the entire time.

You won. Time to move on

Yea, the opponent scoring a TD to come from behind in the final seconds with zeros on the clock is "finding a way to not lost by a shite ton of points."

My God. Is this how FSU fans normally act after winning the national fricking championship?

I guess there can be some debate that it wasn't as effective a tactic as it has been made out to be, but again, the evidence is in their favor.

There are a lot of articles about it. The ones I read said Craig was stealing the plays and calling the plays, for defense I assume. I heard the same thing happened in the Superbowl. They figured out Paytons audibles. It happens. Even Jimbo said so. Blames himself.

What evidence?

No towels= the best defensive football AU played all year. It just happened to be against the best offense they played all year.

Towels up= FSU gaining a 75% increase in yard per play. Just happened to put them right around their season avg, and put AU's defense at an avg comparable to what you saw them do against competent offenses

The fact is that FSU had not faced a defense like Auburn's all season.

Not true. They had faced plenty of shitty defenses.

Auburn punched that offense in the mouth the first half and the rapist had no idea how to handle it.

Except win the game

Where is the FSU fan in this thread?

The coach was asked, and he answered. There's no real reason to claim he was lying. I also guess you think Kelvin Benjamin was lying on the sidelines when he was telling the coaching staff that the super awesome AU DBs knew his routes, before he even ran them.

Funny, I haven't seen UGA or MSU fans bitching about the Auburn losses because of our assistant coaches? Maybe they just have more class?
Or maybe it's just a poor excuse for a shitty, trashy fanbase?

The argument you have made is more than convincing.

I've changed my mind.

Kelvin Benjamin was lying to his coaching staff during the game.

Jimbo lied after the game.

The offensive surge that took place when FSU did something to respond to AU possibly stealing signals was done for no reason at all, and had no impact on the game whatsoever.

Thanks for showing me the light.

So he waited until the fourth quarter to do something about it?

Still doesn't explain why the vaunted FSU defense that had held so many awesome ACC offenses in check laid down in the 1st half? Surely Gus had stolen some FSU defensive plans?
Seriously, everybody in this thread thinks you are grasping...

Even if you believe this lame arse shite, it's not even practical. You think Auburn devised a way to communicate pass routes to each individual CB for each FSU WR before each play? It's not plausible or practical. A play has to be called from the booth, a signal sent out, and then a counter call from the DC has to be made. That call then must be communicated to the defense.

At best, if you choose to accept this to excuse your performance, Auburn knew pass/run. But if FSU's signals are so simple that it can be determined pass/run, then Jimbo's a real dumbass.

And it still doesn't account for the fact that Auburn executed on the field. I mean, it's not real hard to anticipate whether a pass or a run is going to be called. It's all about the execution of the plays by the players on the field. Hell, during LSU's 2011 year, if you guessed run you were right 90% of the time. Yet nobody could stop it.

A coach feeling the need to go to the media and give an excuse for getting his arse beat in that manner is perhaps the most pathetic thing I've ever seen a coach do, short of Saban's excuse for getting his arse beat in the Sugar Bowl.

don't feel bad though, I know the feels.

Not in a natty game, though, don't know what that feels like.

This isn't relevant

But, since you brought it up.... You see, sometimes when an offense struggles to control the ball, it effects the defense as well, as they have to spend more time on the field.

I can tell you aren't very familiar with the game of football, so I hope I explained the well enough for you.

Really? A bunch of AU fans disagree with me? I'm shocked

Guess what? Jimbo Fischer doesn't, nor does Kelvin Benjamin, and their opinions>>>>>>>> every opinion here
