So the coach (who won a fricking national championship) was so concerned about the perception of getting his arse beat the first half that he had to come up with a convenient lame arse excuse for it?

No, I agree. The ACC was the best conference...by a wide margin. AU never had chance except for stealing signals that the stupid fricking FSU coach didn't have the sense to change.
That's why Jimbo had the insight to start the prodigy Gabe Gross at QB for Auburn too.

I refuse to believe a guy making $4 mil a year is too goddamn stupid to change his offensive signals when he is coaching against one of his former players and coaches. If he is, then shame on him, he's an idiot( which I believe after watching him coach my offense in the mid -90s.)

Florida State fans have to be the worst fans i ever encountered. They come up with this fictitious excuse that Auburn had their signs and that explains why AU`S D line was manhandling FSU`s O-line in the first half, yeah stolen signals thats it. Plain and simple after the faked punt the FSU team as a whole started playing better. Also that 300 yards of offense Aubrn put up in the first half was because AU also had stolen their defensive signals. I mean c`mon

What evidence? Why would he admit to being retard and not changing his signals? The fact is that FSU had not faced a defense like Auburn's all season. Auburn punched that offense in the mouth the first half and the rapist had no idea how to handle it.
Not claiming any moral victory, FSU was a better team and should've won. AU was 13 seconds from winning, but a loss is a loss. I should be the one making excuses for losing, not you for winning. It's pathetic.

Florida state fans are an insufferable group, for the most part, but it is. AU was stealing signals.
I guess there can be some debate that it wasn't as effective a tactic as it has been made out to be, but again, the evidence is in their favor.
