Butch will continue to stack bricks and preach about his "young team". When will TN fans realize Butch Jones is a fraud? His biggest win while at Cincy was a freakin Liberty Bowl win over freakin Vanderbilt!

Hate to be harsh, wish TN was back, but their not and won't be anytime soon

I really hope UT wins, but until they beat someone worth a shite and actually win one of these big games I can't respect them.

To be honest I have no clue. The homer in me says we win but objectively I think it's really close to 50/50. They lost 3 starters on the Oline and their D (other than LB) is not that great. But does our oline improve? Is Dobbs actually the player the media is hyping him up to be? We are a completely different team than last year so I have nothing but optimism. The way I'm looking at this game is if we win we will be competing for the East, if we lose I think we still have a good season but it'd be closer to a 7-8 win season.

Possible. But honestly if Tennessee could keep to within about 10 or so I think that would be a good enough foundation to avoid really messing up the season.

Completely agree. I think the make-or-break game this season is UF. We lose that and I think that will be a tremendous demoralizer for the team/fans.

OU had a good RB an a streaky QB

Tenn will have to score early to dictate the action

Vols will win this game. Maybe handily.

OU is more brand name than football team at this point. They are heading the way of Nebraska.

OU went 8-5 last year, 0-4 in games against ranked teams and barely beat Texas in their big game. I also think their QB situation is not great and they are installing a new offense. If OU doesn't get started quickly in this game it could get ugly.

If UT can prevent the outside runs, we will be fine. I think we will with Barnett and Maggitt. UT wins by 2 scores. If UT can win this, it will be the best win for the program in a longggg time.

Agreed. Pasted by Clemson in the bowl game as well. They have a good squad, but nowhere near what they were a few years ago.

UT should win this game and then you will see a massive onslaught of the "Vols are back" by the media, which likely won't be true.

0%. UT is shite, Butch is shite.

Seriously, I think it's close to 50/50, because while OU is always good year in and year out, they were sort of unimpressive down the stretch last year. They are uncertain at QB and don't have the dominating front 7 they did last year when we played them. Basically, this game looks nothing like it did going into last year. Certainly they are very far from a pushover, and we do have to find a way to contain Perine and their other RB's. We're still a bit young, but a lot less so than last year, as all the frosh/sophs become sophs/juniors. They'll need to grow up fast for this game.

OU might start Trevor or Baker, they've got an incredible WR in Sterling and they've got another one from a Texas JUCO who is ridicilously fast, Perine is going to be hard to stop though, kid can really hurt your lb's, if the qb can sling it and you don't stack the box against perine, Vols are going to be in for a long night

I think Oklahoma just outclassed them from about the first snap last year, and I don't know how much has changed.
