LOL. A grown person does not know the difference between right and wrong?????
18-20 year olds may legally be adults but they are hardly ever really 'grown'

Actually not many, because there was a mutual agreement between Media and players but...... I cannot remember a vast majority with tattoos, earrings, nose rings, spousal abuse, drug abuse, felons. JMO
Hell, back then the vast majority of people in general would be considered degenerates in today's society just for their political views and overall poor, unsanitaty appearance.

Banning everybody that gets arrested is lazy and stupid.
People make mistakes. A lot of them will turn their lives around because they get a second chance.

Max Fischer: So you were in Vietnam?
Herman Blume: Yeah.
Max Fischer: Were you in the shite?
Herman Blume: Yeah, I was in the shite.

I never said my generation was perfect but..., compare our Country then and now!!!!
Family meant something, a Christian Country, small crime compared to today.
If you think we are a better Country you certainly did not grow up in the 50's and 60's. JMO

Kenny Trill with his P.I. is not the same as Aaron Hernandez with his murder rap. It has to be a case-by-case basis.

Let me guess, you think we should all spend a little bit of time in the military as well?

Let's be real for a second. >50% of the scholarship football players in the SEC have no business being in college in the first place. The only reason they are there is for exposure for the university and entertainment.

Both Pro and College Athletes know the difference between right and wrong.
Baloney! The old pros got away with so much it was not even funny. Cops didn't arrest em and press didn't report on em because who they were...

The only difference between athletes then and now is that everything they do now is on camera. Players haven't gotten worse.

Starting QB (JJ) whips some "I'm a Marine badass" wannabe outside a college bar. Even 20 years ago, there would be nothing but vague rumors that the QB is a physical guy.
Star RB (Hill) gets a voluntary BJ from a fellow student while still in high school: still wondering how that ever got out; would LOVE to see the lie detector tests on any big-time recruit even now
Same player pops a guy outside a college bar: boys will be boys.

Actually, statistically the people of today are EXTREMELY less violent and less criminal than the people of your time.
If you want to say "facts are facts". Then get them right first.
The difference is there is a national media trying to fill 24 hours of news and you hear about every little thing.
What you mean to say is you don't like the culture of those who play football. Screw that.

So you don't believe in second chances... I bet people love being around you.
People only want them to have a second chance because they are athletes. They should be held to a higher standard, they are in the public eye.

They ARE held to a higher standard. If these things happen to any regular person, they only have to deal with the justice system and most people would get probation at best and it would be a minor blip in their lives.
Speaking from experience on the minor blip.
