I never said that our arena is the best in the league. The hog fan was just saying all our arena had is boxes and club seats.
I figure our arena is in the top 3 or 4 of the sec....which is pretty fricking good considering we're just a few years removed from being in the bottom 10% regarding d1 basketball budget.
It's a damned nice arena and every single announcer to come through couldn't stop talking about it on air.

what's your point? who cares what the outside of an arena looks like? Thompson Boling is easily the nicest arena in the SEC until Rupp finishes its planned renovation

So...not everyone...as the hog fan insinuated we didn't include anything that everyone else already has.
Obviously, you have a difficult time reading so I'm sure that I'm wasting my time with this....but I posted that I consider our arena to be in the top 3 or 4 of the SEC.

you know this entire derail came from someone in your fanbase saying y'all had THE best basketball AND baseball facilities in the entire conference right? I never said Swayze was shite, nor did I say the new Tad Pad or whatever you call it was shitty. I simply said, no they weren't. I said LSU, Arkansas, South Carolina, A&M, and Alabama were all as nice as or nicer than Swayze. I said Thompson Boling is a nicer arena than Ole Miss' new arena. Then the verbal diarrhea from your fan base ensued because metal bleachers and the PMAC somehow refutes the entirety of my original statement, which included 6 schools not named LSU.

Well I guess we can ignore the points awarded to alex box for its exterior as well as any design of its concourse areas....the only thing that matters is the viewing area of the playing field......alex box is now teetering on falling into the bottom half of the conference.

speaking of logic, when you speak of overall facilities for a sport, i guess that only relates to chairbacks in the grandstand and ad space right?

I've read Ole Miss posters claim the new arena is the best in the SEC. It's the newest. Congrats on waiting 50 years to build one because you couldn't afford it until the SEC Network. We have two arenas on our campus larger than the Ole Miss arena. We've had suites, fan amenities and chairbacks throughout Walton for over 20 years. No fast food counters, though. Sorry.
If you guys get an upperdeck at Vaught, I expect Ole Miss fans to start comparing it to JerryWorld.

I think that ole miss has a very strong argument to be 2nd or third in the sec when discussing both facilities.

they sound a lot like A&M fans every time they build something new, but at least A&M builds stuff no one has yet. ole Miss plays catch-up and then thinks they are the gold standard
