For such a shitty stadium that's home to a school that's not even their rival LSU fans sure do seem to care a lot.

Oxford - University Stadium is nothing but chairback seating. The only exception to chairbacks is the outfield lounge areas. And yes, Alabama's is going to be nice. They did design their new baseball stadium based on ours. We're about to renovate ours in 2017 so we'll be back on top soon enough.

Alex box has a ton of seating but it looks like a big pile of horse shite because of reasons already listed in this thread.

Also our video board....bigger and nicer. We also have ribbon board in the stadium. LSU does not.

I'm sorry. Are you actually counting all of that ad space as the screen? Either way, it looks like hot garbage compared to ours. LSU has a good history of baseball dominance but nobody ever walks into Alex Box and says, "Wow! This place is really nice."

Im sorry are you? Your video board is not bigger. The portion of your board that actually shows video is not bigger. The scoreboard itself is not nicer.and literally every announcer that does a game at Alex Box fawns over how nice it is. But feel free to believe Swayze is nicer if it makes you feel better

Yea the Box has a lot of minor league type of stuff going on. The metal seats are terrible. The adds on the outfield fence make it feel like a high school field. Yea it seats a lot. Other than that it really isn't that impressive.

I love how this is always thrown in as a criticism of The Box. It's not LSU's fault that people don't want to advertise at Ole Miss.

You're an absolute moron if you're honestly trying to compare the way the sponsorships of MLB teams look to the way the ones at the Box look.
Also, you need your eyes checked if you think that video board is bigger than OM's.
Swayze > Box easily as far niceness goes.

Meh. The one thing The Box missed on was not having individual seats down the lines. However, all of the bleachers have backs to them so it's not like the hard chair would be any more comfortable than a hard bleacher. Outfield seats should always be bleachers or a berm in college because that's the way the good Lord intended.

These ole miss fans are also not taking into account any other part of the stadium or facilities in general either. Go take a look at the rest of the facilities within the complex and show me any college program with nicer facilities. They see metal bleachers and ads (sorry LSU baseball generates more revenue). The outside of Swayze is extremely meh. The outside of Alex Box is beautiful.
