This thread is amazing. Hog fans (save 1) blame everyone for BP's actions except BP.

It's CBS for filming and broadcasting his "classy" FU MFer to Miles.

It's Blank for BP not contacting Falcons players before sneaking away like a little bitch in the middle of the night. Even if Blank forbade him from a face to face meeting, which is not true by the way, did Blank confiscate BP's phone? Did Blank call the phone company and block every number of every Falcon player so that BP could not call one. Not even the team leaders or captains?

No one expects quitting jobs or getting fired to be rosy times. But there are ways to handle it with class.

BP failed to handle that situation with any.

Same thing Friday, coaches all of them in the heat of the moment may lose control and curse and in network games there are dedicated "coach" cams. The coaches know it, they are made awards of it and know if they act a fool it will be caught on cam.

Even so heat of the monent, like the single reasonable Hog poster suggested not his finest moment. Not a big deal.

However at the end of the game 20-30 minutes later and the post game handshake, well that's not heat of the moment. BP made a conscious decision to blow Miles off.

Defend him and his actions all you want but if he does not change he will embarrass you.

As far as "hate" for him from LSU fans or Miles. I don't. Most don't. It's fun message board fodder because y'all defend him and that makes him and the posts and posters defending super easy targets.

You left out the part about the Hog fans who don't give a shite what some people think, when they're hanging on to an incident (allegedly of no consequence to them), for over four years...unless of course you're one of the fragile ones who initially got their feelings hurt over the Atlanta situation. In that case, there's little hope for your pain.

What's your motive? Most likely, we don't care.

I knew Petrino was a POS when he stabbed Tubberville in the back by meeting with all AU big wheels the week of the Iron Bowl.

He has done nothing to change my mind since.

That coward pos mother Fricker just high tailed it right out of town, no hugs or anything. It just makes me sick when I think about it.

You mean except for the fact the the OP is a hog fan?

As I said no LSU poster compared Petrino to Meyer.

No LSU fans are starting threads today about BP. It's y'all who are and make for easy message board fodder because of the defense of BP when no one was even attacking him.

Your argument is with the OP for bringing it up and starting the thread in the first place.

That was your Auburn friends that orchestrated that.

Fair enough...I didn't see your comparative analysis in re: the Meyer situation and the Petrino situation.

They are POS too. BP invited them to Louisville so he could steal his former boss' job. This is fact.

He was having a panic (anxiety) attack, from what I remember. More than likely, that was a result of worrying about what his wife might do to him.

Hmmmm......*classy* coaches put on pedestals and adored by all.....Jerry Sandusky, Joe Paterno, Jim Tressel.....

I think I'll keep the coach who doesn't seem fake...the "classless, low life, piece of shite", Petrino.

There are no perfect people. The ones who try to present themselves as such, are the ones I'm waiting for the next real scandal to break on. Kinda like the Salisbury guy from ESPN bashing Petrino for the Atlanta thing, then he gets caught texting pics of his junk to some chick. Glass houses.

If Bobby had been that interested, he would have been the one paying for the jet fuel. Think about it.

I have thought about it. It was kind of a big deal around here when it happened.

BP would have been the coach at Auburn if Finebaum had not blown the lid off the whole thing as it was happening.

BP was interested enough to go behind Tubbs back & interview for a job during the season. A job that wasnt even open & was held by a man that considered him a friend. Think about it.

More than likely, they contacted Petrino and asked if they could meet with him. He agreed. Anything else is pure conjecture.

That's enough to make him a piece of shite. Louisville fans didn't seem to think very much of him after the incident either.

It would be interesting but my bet is that (unlike Finebaum, who makes a living from sensationalizing incidents) he will let it die.

...and nothing against Finebaum.

Actually, most Louisville fans still like him. They understood that he was being baited.
