wrong answer. If they were still running the Urban Meyer spread they would be alot better.

Yeah, that worked last year with Meyer. It would have worked great with Brantley again.

Did you really want LSU to quit trying to score?
Would this have made the #3 team in the nation feel better? That looks like an insult to me. You quit trying to score, but I'm going to keep the best I have in there until the very end. LSU took a gamble keeping in their stars, because they could have gotten hurt, but it's football and "there's no crying in football".

Every person should do what is in the best interest for themselves and their family. The reputation you build for yourself is part of that. Doing things the right way will get you farther in life more times than not.

Cause we ALL know Arthur Blank is a good man with a heart of gold. And the two 'leaders' of that team, Alge Crumpler and De'angelo Hall, are shining examples of class act NFL players, right?

I dont blame Bobby for leaving the cesspool that is known as the Atlanta Falcons. Maybe Bobby should've handled it better. All I know is, that team was a cancer in 2007 and that is why Alge and Hall both got cut after the season.

I agree. Unless you were actually in Petrino's situation at Atlanta, it's not a fair judgement to say he did the wrong thing. Many life choices aren't win/win, and up to this point, Arthur Blank hasn't cut me a check to give a damn how he feels.

I think it's fair to say he handled it like shite. It's a reputation he didn't help last Friday with his public outburst. Some times you just have to admit things and hope for the better in the future, instead of trying to sugar coating it.

Things aren't always what they appear on the surface so I'm not gonna judge one way or the other. Seriously, that's my sentiment re: Urban Meyer's situation as well. Neither are paying my bills.

I think deep down inside we all know, but some are just afraid to admit it. LSU fans for the most part didn't like Miles actions following the Ole Miss game a few years ago, at least we could admit it.

People were right about Meyer. The same people are right about Petrino. There is no doubt what happened in Atlanta or on the field Friday.

We know Arthur Blank's side cause he used his media outlet, ESPN, in which Lowe's is one of ESPN's top partners. BP didn't run to a media outlet and start whining like a little brat. And Arthur Blank had it coming after he fired Dan Reeves with 3 games left in the season. The same Dan Reeves who is the 6th winningest coach in NFL history. And I'm not condoning BP's actions. But how are we to know that Blank didn't let Petrino talk to the players after he left?

That's your/their perogative to make that judgement.

I just prefer to make judgements not based on what I see/hear on television, facebook, twitter, etc., or what most people are saying/thinking. People have their own prejudices and agenda and I like to do my own thinking. Each to their own.

But is it fair to make judgements based on what you see with your own eyes? If petrino left for A&M and subsequently kicked Arkansas' arse for the next ten years you'd still be okay with that despite having like a century left on his contract.

Some of you aren't particularly well-informed regarding Petrino leaving the Falcons. Suffice it to say that the Blank/ESPN story was not at all correct.

Didn't Petrino also backstab Tubberville after he gave him his big break, and get busted on it? Can't remember the details.

People have to make their own choices and judgements. Personally, I would make a lousy SEC official unless all the games were in slow motion.

I trust very little of the crap oozing from the TV.

People are going have their opinion about BP and nobody is going to change their minds. There is an interview somewhere on the interwebs about what transpired with BP leaving Atlanta from someone who was right in the middle of it and made 0 dollars from it. Look it up. You might learn something..............

Hey, I wouldn't trust my TV either if I had the all-world offense that Arkansas has get completely shut down and abused by an LSU team that me and my boys have been flaming all year. BOOM!

Seriously though, you don't believe in contracts, and that you should at least play out your first year?
